I have been so blessed to have attended and been influenced by the productions and live sets of many incredible artists including Louie Vega, Craig Smith, Kenny Dope, Ron Trent, Neil Pierce, Sean McCabe and many many more. Deep-Soulful House Music Gives you Light and Life.......

DJ since the early´s 80´s, I start DJing in bars (No Sense) then in Clubs (Resident DJ at Lux and KoolKat) and also hosting some Radio shows..
After 10 years, stopped mixing professionally. 
Influenced by the harmonic sound, beat and groove of Jazz, Soul, Funk and Disco music since very young.
Nowadays House Music is my preference but never forgetting that (old) sound that influenced all those new ones.

Been spinning since 88 and after a 10yr absence I returned a few years back to start mixing again. Before my "retirement", I played at a number of clubs and had residencies at the "infamous" Legends in Old Burlington St and at the Emporium in Soho. Currently mixing for shitz & gigglez, but aim to be playing out again this year.

I like to think, my style of mixing is smooth, I try to take the listener on a rhythmical adventure / journey. I enjoy creating something between the mixes (when possible!) rather than simply going from deck to deck, so if you find yourself; a) loving the tunes, b) having an irresistable urge to dance and c) then realise you haven`t got a clue which tune you`re listening to, then I`m doing my job.

My musical style usually falls into these categories; house, jackin, nu disco, disco house, soulful house but always funky as .......

Philip Kirby currently lives in Sydney Australia but originates from south east London and born in August 1976.  A sound engineer by trade and has been a DJ since the Acid House movement in the late eighties, early nineties enjoying appearances in local venues and party’s globally for many years.  

Very passionate about most styles of electronic music he draws early influences from the likes of Eye Q, TIP, Dragonfly, Harthouse Record labels and artists like Banco De Gaia, more recently favouring Deep House and Progressive music admires artists such as Alex Vidal, Ewan Rill, Christian Monique, Ziger, Cid Inc & Quivver to name but a few.  

Philip as always respects all the artists and listeners that have and still do make it a pleasure to enjoy, mix and share his passion for this music.
