For the 23rd podcast in the series, Implimind presents the Combined Pressure project. After both @combinedtype and @pressurereliefsystem appeared as one of the series’ first outings, the duo’s plotted for some time to join forces and vision.

Where PRS further pushed their selections to fit a variety of occasions and outlets, Combined Type profoundly used the world’s downtime to successfully increase their studio output.

Together, Combined Pressure blended the individuals’ ever-lingering ideas and aimed to craft a lengthy yet powerful recording. As the delicate introduction of tense atmosphere soon enough morphs into the eerie flow one would expect from the project, the mix presents several stages of twisted rhythms, goofy patterns and unreleased bits.

With bright days in sight for nightlife, chances are solid that this formation will be back rather sooner than later. But for now, dive in and enjoy.

Aleksandr Lukashevich aka Lucarelli was born and grew up in Minsk, Republic of Belarus. It is not a case where a person grew up in a musical family or something like that. Even the first steps in DJing he did quite late when he was 27 years old. However, music is always of particular importance to Lucarelli. It all started with small bars and a commercial deep house. But very quickly, Lucarelli found the style that completely devoured him. At that moment when he first heard the hypnotic sounds of minimal music something turned upside down in his soul and he gave up in this pleasant captivity and no longer imagines another tandem. Year after year, the skills were getting better and the musical taste was more perfect. At the moment, all Lucarelli are thrown on the unification and development of the domestic electronic scene, a special place in its plans is reserved for Minimal. His mixes have already appreciated large sites that are in the “theme”, such as Feeder sound and 4pe4.ro. However, he does not even think about stopping. He is always ready to give a portion of fresh inspiration to his listeners, be it a podcast or a hot party.

His openness to experimenting with these sounds has led to the blissful symbiosis of electronic influences that you can hear in his sets and compositions and has led him to release on respected labels like @MamaRecordings, @sleep-is-commercial & @Archipel Musique Canada.

His own label @Soblazn Music is a highly curated platform for uniquely sophisticated, intelligent minimal music on both digital and vinyl formats, and continues to embody the sonic exploration that Yaroslav himself holds dear to his heart.
