VayFlor - russian native artist, but currently he's living in the city of Naples, Italy. In his productions he represents the genre "Melodic House & Techno" and "Progressive House". The approach with electronic music began in 2009, when he was invited for the first time to play during an evening in a local nightclub.

The "MOOD" of the artist's productions represents a mixture of sounds from the analogue and the natural world, which creates deep and full-bodied basslines matched to the atmosphere of the pads, leads and pluck / key sequences.

Frezel shows us in his remix how high lovely melodies can work together harmoniously with dark filthy basslines. A hopping beat determines the rhythm of this track and subtitle melodies are exchanged with shrill blowing brasses.  The break starts with a solo synth and softly the arpeggios blend in and out, building up to a silence. Then a very dark, rough brass takes over the total spectrum of the track, giving it a total new chapter. This track is a weapon for every DJ to wake up their crowd!

It is heavy and deep and the melody leads you further and further into this trip until halfway the melody turns around and goes beyond. After one year since the previous Various Artists X, the Milanese label Just This returns with a new compilation of 9 tracks. Together with artists who have been on the label for several years, we find new producers such as Fur Coat, Julian Wassermann and Øostil.
Dark and hypnotic atmospheres join other more melodic and dreamy ones defining the sound that has always characterized the label.

Inspired by a weekend with the #languages family at an abandoned place called "Grabowsee Heilstätten" near Berlin MoodFreak crafted this 2-track EP.

The title track "Heilstaetten" encapsulates the morbid beauty of this former lung clinic, a place that has long been left to itself and where one can see nature taking over again.

"Curve" is like a walk through the lower levels of these buildings, passing by dusty chambers along dark and long hallways. Here and there you can still see old medical devices that have just been left there.

With his EP MoodFreak explores the darker corners of progressive house.

'Well-known electronic duo Extawelt have remixed Electronic trio KARMACODA’s single, ‘Feels’, to be released on the 21st of January. The double remix will be available as an instrumental version as well as one with vocals and will be included on KARMACODA’s upcoming Remixes EP which will be released on the 11th of February via Sola Musa Music. The EP will also feature an ambient house remix from Japanese producer Lycoriscoris and a remix from renowned multi-instrumentalist Sailor & I.

Extrawelt caught the world’s attention from the start, with their first single under the moniker released via James Holden’s revered Border Community label. In the following years, the  German duo collected over 53 million plays across platforms and earned support from Mixmag, Resident Advisor, DJ Mag, Clash Magazine, Magnetic Magazine, LA Times, The Fader, Deep House Amsterdam, Groove Magazine, Faze Magazine and Boiler Room.

The award-winning team of KARMACODA is composed of Jessica Ford (vocals), founding member Brett Crockett (aka B. on vocals and producer) and Japanese-American multi-instrumentalist Eric Matsuno (bass and other unique elements). B., originally from Chicago, is currently based in San Francisco along with the rest of the band. ‘Feels’ is taken from KARMACODA’s latest album, Slow Down, Melt and Catch Fire which was released on the 2nd July 2021. Extrawelt’s remix can be compared to the well-known works of Maya Jane Coles, Ben Böhmer and Christian Löffler.

The luminescent remix for ‘Feels’ takes the core concept and strips it down before adding layer upon layer of basslines and synths. Extrawelt create a dance-inducing war cry from KARMCODA’s original single as static elements provide their own form of harshness against Jessica’s smooth vocals. Forget dusky hues and rose coloured glasses, we’re venturing into the deep of the night and taking Extrawelt’s remix of ‘Feels’ along for the ride. 

Speaking of the remix, Extrawelt tell us: "We are thrilled to be part of this project which is way out of our comfort zone, it turned out to be quite a challenge."'

'Obsidian' the title track is a deep and powerful melodic throbber, full of energey and melodious layers, while packing a real punch!

Next 'Calling You' brings a warm sophistication to proceedings as we enter dreamier territories, as the beautiful piano really brings the emotions to the forefront.

The Sprout label favourite D-Sens steps up with not one, but two remixes, and we begin with 'Obsidian'. This remix is a deep and mystical swaggering peak time gem, that really locks you in to its groove.

And the second D-Sens remix is of 'Calling You' , and utilising the piano, but stripping it back, allowing the vocal to glide through the deep bass driven reworking.'
