Void+1 Industries is not predicting the future. They already did that. They're now building the broadcast-towers for after the blackout.
This is an EP with no clear evolutionary lineage. Void+1 have put their marker on it, sure, "V+1022D". Sounds official, like a sealed file in a cabinet somewhere off-grid. But here's the problem; there's no cabinet for it.
Its DNA has been spliced too many times to count: techno wired to breakbeat’s synapses, low-end pressure that recalls bass music shot through electro's cold, sharp edges. It sounds like the future envisioned through a cracked kaleidoscope. It doesn’t fit anything (yet), but it occupies everything.
The word is that the chief scientist had to summon assistance from "beyond" to tame the subharmonic tectonics shaped by the pressure and conflict of these tracks in order to make them safe for consumption.

California-born Age of Aconitum began her musical career as a gothic metal singer, but extended into the electronic sphere in an act of both self-expression and self-preservation. Using cinematic atmospheres, hypnotic rhythms that exist in the gray area between drum n bass and techno, and her own haunting vocals, she invites her audience into a state of release and surrender.

Age of Aconitum’s music serves as a testament to the delicate space that exists between beauty and darkness. She navigates the intricate terrain where light and shadow intertwine, within her music and within herself.
