AGILE096 - 10 YEARS OF AGILE RECORDINGS

Agile is back with a perfect release provided by the dynamic duo Loco and Jam which they offer to us a set of two techno tracks. &#8216;Berimbolo&#8217; is first on and this track is armed with a highly infectious melody, beefed up with a big bouncy heavy bassline. It is not surprising why this track is peak time material. The second track is &#8216;Triangle&#8217; and it features trippy synth sounds mixed up perfectly with a funky bassline. An incredibly release from Loco and Jam which both of them they deliver the goods in Agile.

Paride Saraceni is back on Agile and gets straight to the point with &#8220;Skyline&#8221;, where we find him rolling out the percussion and bringing in classy, evolving synths over a rocksteady drumset.&nbsp; The optimistic vibe of &#8220;West Village&#8221; is up next, letting a rubber-band bassline take control, while persistent stabs keep the momentum going and hypnotic electronics grind away in the background.

We welcome Ramon Tapia to Agile as he whips out a cut that never lets up, courtesy of a persistent stab that manically runs throughout the length of the affair.&nbsp; Meanwhile, the locomotive rhythm section chugs away effortlessly and provides the perfect backdrop for subliminal synth washes to do their thing.&nbsp; Label boss Uto Karem is on the remix, and he dubs things out in his version, keeping things claustrophobic and tense.&nbsp; Cavernous effects offer some welcomed breathing space and the sub bass rumbles on.

It&#8217;s time for another &#8220;Agility&#8221; V/A compilation which, once again, acts as a blueprint of the sound to come, with cuts specially picked for this occasion by label boss Uto Karem himself.&nbsp; Expect nothing less than chrome-plated rides through the midnight air with the style and finesse that Agile has accustomed you to.

Mastiv makes his Agile debut by demonstrating his effortless style and impeccable skills in all three of the cuts.&nbsp; The title track is up first and sets the tone perfectly with a sleazy bassline, commanding stabs and soaring synths.&nbsp; &#8220;Dr. Dachno&#8221; picks up in the same vein, led by the driving bass, while electronics are graciously sprinkled on top of the crystal-clear production.&nbsp; Closing up with &#8220;Schmutz&#8221;, we are introduced to a discordant vibe as warped synthesis takes center stage and otherworldly effects propel the affair to the next level.

Common Ject - Keeping the tempo high on classic drums and synths, this track doesn’t waste any time before climbing into stellar ethereal terrain, in effect mixing things up while still keeping the song grounded at the same time. By infusing some interestingly dreamy sensations into listeners and keeping the bass bumping at full capacity, the artist experiments without losing his footing in a solidly danceable base, offering an incredible dance hit while pushing the art to a new high.
