Genre-Grenzen durchbrechen – Minimalbeats vermengt mit den "Zutaten" Jazz, Klezmer, Klassik, Polka und Experimental – so entstehen je nach Publikum und Stimmung neue, mitreißende Klangräume.

„Die ersten fünf Jahren meiner DJ-Karriere habe ich mit Vinyl gearbeitet, in mir wurde während dieser Zeit das Bedürfnis nach einem kreativeren und spielerischen Umgang mit Musik immer stärker. Dies war auch mein Antrieb für das Studium der Computer-Musik und Elektroakustischer Komposition in Wien. Eine Mischung aus DJ-Set und Live-Performance. Im virtuosen Umgang mit den schier endlosen Möglichkeiten des Computers wird so eine musikalische Welt in Echtzeit arrangiert.“

Als Kind der Berliner Techno-Szene wurde bei Noael der Wunsch nach ansprusvollerer Tanzmusik groß. Die Kommerzialisierung der Beriner Club- Landschaft und der damit verbundene Mangel an Experimentierwillen verstärkten dies. Spaß erstickt in Konvention. So initiierte er in Berlin und Umland kleine Partyserien in Baustellen, Wäldern und Parks.

The gorgeous Agitation Phi is her own renaissance; a fabulous bass player, she has created a neopsychedelic otherworld with Agitation. She unites the Earth, the Cosmos … Everything … into one Throb.*

I pronounce it, Zixy-Sticks. It came from a nonsensical play on the name of the truly vile candy-dust-in-a-cardboard-tube, Pixy Sticks. Then again, there is meaning everywhere.
