Fabrizio Lapiana [Only Vinyl] joins for DifferentSound Podcast #115.

Fabrizio Lapiana is an italian DJ, producer and a founder of Attic Music, based in Rome. He started his career as a Dj back in 1994, influenced mainly by the early 90's sound of Rome and Detroit as well by the first european pioneers of electronic music. In his DJ sets, Fabrizio makes a precise and intimate techno flow that seduces the dancefloor mixing new and old vinyls range from deep, intricate techno, through an acid and groovy darkness with some melodic gems along the way. With his label “Attic Music”, founded in 2008, Fabrizio grow up his sound combining deep aesthetics and techno grooves often allowing ambient or industrial elements. To remember also the strong collaboration with Max_M on his M_Rec 10'' series in 2014, that showed his most emotional view of techno. His performances in Rome as well in some of the finest wordwide clubs are a way to offer his right vibrations in the techno scene in the last years: the energy created by Fabrizio's sets worth living!

Martin is the founder of the Hivemind record label, podcast platform, and events organization, where soon you could hear many more projects from him! We highlight his last release on his own label , the LP called "26695".

Audio Magnitude Podcast Series #48 Martin Deno

Lindsey Wang, the mind behind Polygonia, is a versatile musician and artist based in Munich, Germany. A long time before her electronic music journey began, she explored the realms of several acoustic instruments intensively. This skill combined with studies of various other art forms, inspired the artist to translate her understanding of rhythm, composition and experimentalism into the digital
music language.

Her sound identity is driven by a mystic, deep and organic character which is enriched with acoustic elements built into the genres of deep techno, downtempo and ambient.
Polygonia already released her music on several labels like Lowless, Jazz-o- Tech, On Board Music, Lett Records, Alexandar and more. She expresses herself in various ways through Live- and DJ-Sets. Her audio color palette covers a huge spectrum from calm and harmonic sounds to polyrhythmic dark grooves.

Together with Dycide and MTRL she founded the ambient and deep techno label

Sound researcher in the studio, chaos creator on the dancefloor our next podcast comes from @d-leria aka Giuseppe who started his DJ carrier over 20 years ago in 2001. In the early stages, he was focused on playing Hardcore, achieving international success, and playing at performing at major festival lineups. In 2014 he encountered a new and unfamiliar sound realizing that this was what he had long been desiring. D-Leria was born from this experimentation and started a whole new journey. At first, he began releasing independent EP's that developed the intentions of his very own label called Delirio. Artists such as Stanislav Tolkackev, Simone Giudice, Retina.it, Key Clef, and more were all hosted on several occasions on his label; all there to spread the same message, hard groove on vinyl. In September 2017 he moved to Berlin to find new ideas and to develop his album "Driving to Nowhere" which took him five years but became his most memorable work yet. The sound immediately gained the attention of many artists such as Shifted, Donato Dozzy, Svreca, Neel, Marco Shuttle, Reeko, Psyk, Refracted, and many more. Furthermore, this paved the way for his later recordings on labels such as Avian, Semantica, Non Series, Camera Magmatica, Aura Dinamica, and more which have given him international recognition for D-Leria.

Dirty Epic welcomes aboard @p-e-a-r-l for its thirty third episode of Amplify Series.

Born and raised in Santander, P.E.A.R.L. first witnessed electronic music from late 90s - early 00s sounds which played a fundamental role in his productions. As a teenager, the Spaniard immersed himself within club culture and was immediately drawn to the harsh beats of British techno. 

2006 marks the starting point of his now primary outlet: P.E.A.R.L. releasing his first tracks on Tsunami Records.

In 2012 he moves to Berlin and one year after he founds his own imprint,  Falling Ethics Records, first as an outlet for his own productions and lately opening the doors to other creators like Umwelt or Oscar Mulero.

2017 is going to be a pivotal year on his career, with the release of his first Album, Temptation through Impatience, to be released on his very own Falling Ethics imprint and his addition to PoleGroup.

Recently in 2020-2021, he unleashed a string of hard-hitting tracks and EPs such as Tribal Science on Hector Oaks imprint OAKS or We Will Not All Fall , the first release of his new Falling Ethics sublabel Moral Standards: A subjective look at the current Techno scene with music from artists like Matrixxman, Sunil Sharpe, VCO or Nene H. 

As a performer he is an excellent selector in the dj booth, combining the pulse of pounding grooves in a very eclectic way, always making his sets an unexpected journey.

For several years, he has released his music on recognized labels such as Hidden Recordings, Dynamic Reflection, Intacto Records and Warok Music and has seen his work supported by Ben Sims, DVS1, Rødhåd and Sam Paganini to name a few. Remixed by Mike Parker, Oliver Deutschmann, Fred P, Tom Diccico, Myles Sergé, Chris Colburn, Hemka, Mattias Fridell, Micol Danieli, ArchivOne, Doomwork and many more. 
JC Laurent shared his musical universe with great artists such as Antigone, Lucy, Shlømo, Adriana Lopez, Claudio PRC, Nur Jaber and many others at his parties «JC Laurent invites» & «Dance To Resist».
This allowed the native of the French Riviera to play in most respected clubs and festivals in Europe and other country like Concrete (Paris, FR), Les Plages Électroniques (Cannes, FR), Suicide Club (Berlin, DE) or still at Wax Bar in Tunisia.

This week, our biggest love and thanks go to Jonas Wernicke aka Kontinum for investing his love and energy into this epic journey recorded especially for us.

It’s a mix that immediately catapults us to the dance floor, where we’re once again brought together in perfect unison to experience the comfort, power and healing of the heady, intoxicating, fast-paced rhythms and grooves we love so much.

Jonas’ Kontinum project (Institut fuer Zukunft, Nebula, The Gods Planet) launched in 2016, focusing on the more atmospheric realms of techno, growing to encompass ambient, deep techno and more modern club-orientated techno you hear here. Jonas and two friends founded the Nebula Kollektiv in 2017, today at the heart of the Leipzig club scene, and he joined the much loved Institut fuer Zukunft roster of residents in 2021.

Ambitious and ready to continue his musical journey, Daniele Miladinov a.k.a Modern Abuse stays true to his vision of sound and successfully manages to diffuse his unique brand of energy within any space.

Apart from polishing his musical taste, Modern Abuse has also been focusing on the development of the local techno scene since the beginning of his journey.

So far, he has had the opportunity to be invited on the same lineups with artists such as Kwartz, CONCEPTUAL, Freddy K, D-Leria, Quelza, Paula Koski, Annē, Perfo and to play at the well-known Suicide Club in Berlin.

In 2021, Modern Abuse joined Friendship collective – a Berlin-based promoter of art and electronic music that organises interactive events and promotes unconventional techno internationally. From this point onwards, his circle of like-minded people has only been
growing as well as his motivation.

Booz is a Naples-based DJ/producer that came out from the underground scene. Drummer for passion, moves with time its focus on analog instruments and modular rack, vinyl, studio sessions, studies on the synthesis, sound design and recording studio. He is a versatile artist who loves to explore the different faces of techno music: driven by a strong experimentation and attracted to unconventional sounds, it blends the industrial techno with obscure melodies, insistent groove experiments with hypnotic dark atmosphere, synth acids and psychedelic sounds, trying to give a personal touch to the sound and a more complete view possible of music techno. 
Releases his music on labels of the techno scene reference as Edit Select, Illegal Alien, Subsist, Arts, Affekt, Anaoh, Northalssen and on his label Prophet, that founded in 2016.
