AICCRA Senegal, through CERAAS of ISRA, ANCAR, Jokolante and the community radios members of URAC, have animated between July and December 2022, a series of programs on the activities of the project in its 3 areas of intervention in Senegal. These were the communes of Méouane (Thiès region), Daga Birame (Kaffrine region) and Thiele (Louga region). The themes of the programs revolved around the project's objectives, expected results, capacity building for MSE leaders, good agricultural practices, the use of climate information for better crop yields, agriculture-livestock integration, etc.
A total of 97 programs were carried out during the year 2022. The language used in these programs is "Wolof", the national language in Senegal.

AICCRA in Senegal | 1. Capacity building for MSE leaders in the commune of Thiel, Louga region

In Thiel, in the Louga region (Senegal), beneficiaries of AICCRA are evaluating the performance of millet, cowpea and groundnut seeds granted by the project, during the "AICCRA Farmers' Days". During this event, the authorities, producers and development actors expressed their satisfaction with the performance of the improved varieties and wished for their large-scale dissemination.
