With a solid and consistent sound, Hernan has been in the music since 2000.
His first vinyl release at DK (Matthew Dekay Imprint) back in 2003 put a stone in his still prominent career.
Hernan has been playing alongside Argentina's main clubs Pacha, Crobar, and Palacio Alsina while also booked to a wide range of clubs in Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Peru & US among others. During this period, he and his friends formed a collective of DJs named Feedback Bookings managing residences and booking international DJs, building a big part of the underground scene in Argentina.
In 2006 Hernan signed to Vapourise Records (Australia) 2 house tracks, one of them, 'Summer Emergency', was played by Nic Fanciulli at the BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix hosted by Pete Tong reaching top sales for the summer season.
In 2008 Hernan joined Chas Burns aka Flow and take control over Low Pressings records, the UK's prestigious imprint created by Peace Division. Till now, Low Pressings release established and newcomers producers.
In 2009 Hernan toured the US, playing in NY, Ohio, Cleveland, and the WMC at Miami while releasing his now classic Ep 'Reach Your Soul' at Anjunadeep, also included in the mixed CD by James Grant & Jaytech (UK).
In 2011 signed the single 'Use Your Imagination' with Armada Music, and also begin his relationship with Club On Bookings, Sao Paulo based agency making Brazil the main route for his forthcoming years.
In the present, Hernan rotates his days between his advertisement production house Audiobranders, Low Pressings records, and his original & remixes duties.

Rainer Trueby’s brand new 3 solo single! After releasing his smashing solo debut on Compost Black Label (Livin In The Music / Es Lo Que Pasa / Hirtenruf) and doing “Schoko Bolla”, an all-night jam session (and an amazing free download and gift for all fans out there) he is back again teaming up with Danilo Plessow (Motor City Drum Ensemble). Funny, both Motor City Drum Ensemble and Rainer Trueby (as Trueby Trio - together with Roland Appel and Christian Prommer) have compiled a DJ Kicks.  
 
With its perfectly chosen post garage appeal „Jeck“ sets you in the mood for doing nearly everything and honours the slower, more subtly grooves in a very significant way. Reminds a bit to the early Nineties Nu-Groove Sound from NYC. Especially when the bombastic kick combines with the more jazzy, laid back keys. 
And when you realize that Trueby speaks (and sings) all of his vocals himself, you know that there’s the whole package! The record contains a further track “Welcome To Our World”, which is as moody as hell! Sit back and relax! Last but not least the 12inch includes a kick-ass Marcus Worgull’s remix.  
Marcus Worgull is one of the top addresses for deep house releases on labels like Sonar Kollektiv, Dixon and Amé ́s Innervisions and remixes like Farside Records, Running Back, Lovemonk or DFA.  
 
Rainer Trueby was born in Stuttgart on 20.08.1971. He was raised in the Neckardelta, a prosperous economic region along the river Neckar. He is catholic and goes to church on christmas. His first DJ experience was in an old people’s home (Arbeiterwohlfahrt) in Stuttgart in 1990 where Rainer was the host of tuesday 
afternoon’s teadance, developping a feeling how to rock an elderly but open-minded crowd (65+) with classics like "Es gibt kein Bier auf Hawaii". After having that DJing experience, Ali & Basti Tiefschwarz gave Rainer a sunday night residency @ their ON-U club in Stuttgart where the motto was "all things nice" ranging from Soul 
Funk Jazz to Hip Hop and Talkin Loud stuff. In 1993 Rainer met Compost head honcho Michael Reinboth. 
After some 12"s with A Forest Mighty Black and some compilations ("Glücklich") he teamed up with Christian Prommer and Roland Appel to form the Trueby Trio. Some 12s, one album ("Elevator Music"), one remix album ("Retreated") and numerous remixes followed. His club residency Root Down @ Waldsee / Freiburg is 15 years old now. He likes to play chess with Michael Reinboth. He likes a glass of wine as well. A decent meal too.

For their fourth release on Compost, SIREN, (Darshan Jesrani and Dennis Kane) offer up Lulu. A haunting and driven song with an emotionally lacquered vocal from Devi Mamboka. The song also features elegant guitar work from Danny Chavis of The Veldt (His twin brother Daniel sang vocals on SIREN’S first release) bass from SIREN engineer supreme Mark Dann, and percussion from Liquid Liquid front man Salvatore Principato.
The Italian disco- and cosmic pioneers Daniele Baldelli and Marco Dionigi joined forces for an extraordinary timeless smoothly grooving re-interpretation of Lulu.
“Pre nom Lulu” - German dramatist Frank Wedekind published the two “Lulu” plays “Pandora’s Box” and “Earth Spirit” in 1895. They are unique and genre shattering as they present a female protagonist with a strong voice, and one possessive of a highly sexualized and independent mind. Following up “Paradise” where their vocalist (Felice Rossner) declares: ”Sell the house, sell the car, take my phone, I’m not coming back....” SIREN again delivers another female voice, one that is confronting existential doubt head on; “Darling let’s jump...” Devi Mambouka give voice to Lulu in the song and inhabits the heroine’s indifference to bourgeois convention with graceful and sensual defiance. She begins by telling her lover to “shut his mouth and listen to me” then describes a trip they will make “losing one’s eyes, losing one’s bearings, getting free and saying yes”. The lyric heralds transformation and builds on the ideas of SIREN’s previous songs, Gauntlet, A/Way, and Paradise.
In the barren context of contemporary dance music, which seems indifferent to the ideas of art and philosophy, SIREN is going fully against the grain, drawing inspiration from lyricists like David Bowie, Joni Mitchell, and writers like John Ashbery and William Burroughs. Siren loves bands like Suicide and Bauhaus, groups that make powerful sensual songs while still bringing complex thinking to the table. SIREN feels, like Funkadelic, that you can free your mind and your ass will follow. The songs sleek production and affecting rhythms evoke a journey taken, nocturnal and urgent.

The cover art for Lulu is by NYC artist and owner of the fabled bar/gallery Lit Erik Foss. SIREN and Foss had a dear mutual friend, NYC graffiti legend SPAM (who was the bartender for every one of SIREN’s Strobe Lodge parties) and SPAM had a girlfriend named Devi Mambouka – that’s how we do. Chatting with Erik about the song Kane asked him if he had anything that might be right for the idea, and after an afternoon of looking at work – they choose the image, “a touch of class”, the back cover features an artwork from Kane – a portrait of imagist poet Hilda Doolittle.
NYC still has hardcore community of artists musicians and writers, tough minded and complex, SIREN feels grateful to engage with their collaborators and hopefully add to that storied history of art making and also to provide a motivator to get on the dance floor.

A Benefit Compilation for Homelessness in Los Angeles County from Pleasure of Love

Pleasure of Love presents a compilation of dance music to raise awareness and benefit the homelessness epidemic in Los Angeles County.  DJs, producers, and musicians from Los Angeles and around the world contributed tracks, hoping to shed light on the issue and provide a little relief over the winter holidays and beyond.

Artists included are Aimes (Wonder Stories), Wild & Free, Club Tularosa, JMMSTR, Ghosts of Venice, Turbotito, FSQ, Peter Croce (Rocksteady Disco), Ladymonix (Frizner Electric), Mojito Boys, Sacre Galaxie, DJ Duckcomb, Air Zaire, Dream Machines, Band of Misfits, Mix & Fairbanks, and Nala (London).

Homelessness in LA County surged over 75% in less than 6 years, as reported by the LA Times back in February, 2018.  Housing shortages, rising rents, and a slow response to help aid the homeless have created a complex and dangerous situation in LA’s notorious skid row and beyond.  In an effort to best utilize the funds we generate from this benefit, we’ll be donating specifically to Downtown Women’s Center in LA.  Per the shelter’s website-

“The Downtown Women’s Center (DWC) is the only organization in Los Angeles focused exclusively on serving and empowering women experiencing homelessness and formerly homeless women.
We envision a Los Angeles with every woman housed and on a path to personal stability. Our mission is to end homelessness for women in greater Los Angeles through housing, wellness, and advocacy.”

About Pleasure of Love-
Pleasure of Love is a weekly disco, house, and international funk flavored party in Hollywood, CA.  On its 2nd year, the party has had guests from around the world play alongside founder Dino Soccio, focusing on underground house and disco in the small basement club Dirty Laundry.  A small cult following led to the launch of a vinyl only imprint in 2018.  The label is currently working on its 4th release slated for January 2019.
