For anyone, who has had to live in any form of isolation or restriction, like many of us in 2020/2021, it's mostly the small, simple, everyday things that you miss.

Waiting  for  the  world  to  get  back  upon  its  feet,    
Been  so  long  waiting  in  the  wings,  
Getting  hard  to  remember  how  things  really  were,   
How  I  miss  the  ordinary  things,  

Like,  casual  conversations  with  strangers  that  you  meet,   
Hanging  out  with  friends,  and  simply  walking  down  the  street,                  
How  I  miss  the  ordinary  things,  
   
Like,  sitting  at  the  coffee  shop,  watching  people  passing  by,   
Seeing  mothers  pushing  push-chairs  while  their  little  babies  cry,   
How  I  miss  the  ordinary  things,  

Waiting  for  the  world  to  get  back  upon  its  feet,   
It's been  so  long  waiting  in  the  wings,

Like,  taking  a  bus  ride,  three  stops  down  the  road,

Like,  shopping  unconcerned,  without  watching  my  back,   
Making  pointless  journeys  and  other  things  like  that,

This song here is one I had covered a while ago with my buddy The OASPM and I was really happy with it but it seemed to sit on the shelf even as much as I believed in it.  And then, like I do every song, I remember there's no vocals idiot.  

Hopefully now with Rekha's magical track as part of this song, it will bring a second wind and help others to enjoy it that may have missed it the first time around.

This song sprung out of a practice session, with the lyrics, especially the first verse, just tumbling out.
It's another love song for my partner.  Can't seem to stop writing them, but that's how much she means to me.  Will be more worried if I stop writing them.

This song is a love story of sorts, a temptress who is luring in this man with her wild ways, getting him to leave his normal mundane life behind and live with her in the forest of blue. In my mind this had a fairy tale feel to it but with a darker element...  The music I feel works great with the piano and strings, giving it a great atmosphere and really fits in well with the storyline
