Whirl plays expressive improvised music and incorporates explosive free-jazz esthetiques with micro-tonal timbral investigations in a dynamic way where silence and loudness coexists.

ÄIO is a Norwegian/Estonian experimental folkmusic ensemble. Katariin Raska - sopran sax/torupill/jew'sharp/overtone flute/vocal; Anders Hefre - bass clarinet/irish flute; Jon Hjellum Brodal - hardanger fiddle/fiddle/vocal; Christian Meaas Svendsen – doublebass

ÄIO uses musical material mainly from the Estonian and Norwegian traditional heritage. With an approach to both improvised and experimental music, ÄIOs music sounds very intuitive but in the same time strongly attached to the traditional material in it.
One of the front figures in the band, Katariin Raska, uses saxophone and Estonian bagpipe as her main instruments and explores the gap between the traditional use of these instruments both musically and technically. 

Chartreuse collaborates with fantastic living composers on crazy new music we love and presents the results as many times as we can to as  many people as will listen. 

Myra is a violinist who plays nice sounds in San Diego.
