PHXS19 ‘Portals’ EP is coming by the Brooklyn based Zeta Sect, featuring 70 minutes of blistering vintage drum machines contrasted against a haze of synthesis. Here Zeta Sect invites the listener to experience a fresh perspective with the insurgency of beautifully composed synth-wave, electronic body music and  synth pop treads into new and unique territory for your body and soul. The deadpan delivery of spoken word passages in conjunction with the intricate use of delay blends the world of synth inspired genres with a distinct tinge of 1980’s industrial flavour.

'Allegories' is a compilation curated by Insurgency, an art collective probing the farthest ends of electronic expression. The nine-piece assemblage in cassette and digital form explores sonic abrasiveness as it relates to music, art, and social reality, in contrast to the dominant tropes and trends prevalent in today's club music. The selected works of nine musicians are aimed to offer an authentic and distinctive insight into the sub-culture of underground electronics, its concepts, values, and its most promising artists. Each of these allegories is to be interpreted freely and without declaration: the noise, as any other instrument of expression, is to be felt introspectively.

THE NINETY-SIXTH CHAPTER IS WRITTEN BY THE DJ AND PRODUCER @MOTIV_A

Magdalena K. aka Motiv-a is a New York-based artist. Working in mediums of visual art, sound and live performance since 2009, she comes from a heritage of underground DIY music culture. Motiv-a is driven by the visceral and subversive esoterics of human ritualistic practices and transgressive music. Her live hardware electronics and DJ’ing range from psychedelic, dark-wave, techno, experimental, noise, punk, to industrial, dark ambient and electronic body music.

She has appeared in venues in New York such as Bossa Nova Civic Club, Trans-Pecos, Elsewhere to Ohm, Säule & Tresor in Berlin, and event series such as the VSSL party series in Los Angeles, Lost Souls Enterprises and Synthicide in NY. Her productions can be found on Lost Soul Enterprises’ 2017 ‘We Are What You Think We Are’ 3-part vinyl V/A, Jaclyn Kendall’s 2018 Palestinian benefit compilation “Never a Land without People”, and most recently the DKA Records V/A DKA Tape Programme III. Motiv-a is currently recording several solo EPs to be announced.

META MOTO podcast is derived from outward and inward influences, combined circumstances of temporal things and forms. From existence to the succession generating things according to the natural order.

French producer and DJ @leonard-lampion a lover of aerial pads and overdriven percussions, Leonard has been constantly exploring and experimenting with melodies and textures on various releases since 2016 (on labels like @micropoprecords, @abstractrealityrecords, @metamoto, @vastechoses). Not only working alone, but he also probed the industrial meanders and the italo-disco pop side in his groups Hardlab and Peep night. 
His new album, released in September 2022, goes beyond the standards of the industrial genre and gives more space for vocals, melodies and rhythms.
