For the last two decades Shinedoe has been doing exactly what her name symbolises. Through her various endeavours the Amsterdam-born and raised artist has been on a mission to move people through music, not just physically but emotionally and spiritually too.

Since starting DJing at the age of 19 she's been driven by the deep and soulful sounds of Detroit and Chicago, and pioneering artists like Jeff Mills, Juan Atkins and Kevin Saunderson.

She took matters into her own hands by starting her Inmotion parties back in 2001 and refined her skills as a DJ in the process. The party was renamed to Intacto a few years later, coinciding with the launch of her co-run label of the same name which served as a platform for much of her own releases including three of her long players. Other labels came knocking too; the likes of Ibadan and Cocoon also housed her characteristically powerful grooves, and later down the line, a new platform of her own: Music That Moves. 

The label, launched in 2018, perfectly sums up her outlook as a whole. A place for her own productions, she's been able to immortalise her long-term musical vision which seeks to show the sensual, soulful side of techno - the latest example being her Freedom Riders LP which came out in October. 

Her mix for us showcases exactly that. Percussive and pacy, it's a collection of shimmering techno, electro and breaks (inclusive of her own productions) that's fluid and effortless from the get-go.
