Jodii was born within 'singing distance' of London’s most vibrant neighbourhood, Brixton. Raised in a musical family on a rich diet of Soul, Gospel and Reggae, Jodii soon developed a hunger for new, exotic sounds. With “K-Pop” in Chinatown, “Grunge” at community college,  “Bhangra” in Tooting,  Stravinsky’s “Rite of Spring” at classes with Ballet Rambert and Jungle,  Garage and Grime pumping from passing cars, Jodii  feasted on the sonic flavours  spilling from London’s melting pot.

At 16, Jodii formed female fronted punk / synth band “The Floodliners” whose hyperactive performances featuring Jodii’s soaring vocals soon made waves. After just two years together they performed at London's O2 and beat 36,000 rivals to win the PRS “Next Brit Thing" Award.

Jodii collaborates with producer George Wilkins whose diverse CV includes sessions for Reggae legend "The Mad Professor"; writing for Tamla Motown; scoring for TV and commercials; directing ceremonies (with 100's of  Arabic drummers & dancers) for FIFA’s Club World Cup in Abu Dhabi.

Jodii and George’s tracks intentionally clash epic vocals and ear-grabbing hooks with Electronica, Rock, Pop, vintage Soul, movie scores and ‘world’ music – a style known as “Drama Pop”.
