Prometheus for Repro-1 features 120 presets exploring both vintage and modern sound. Over 90 of these presets come with programmed sequences to not only give you an inspiring sound, but also fresh musical ideas.  Repro-1 has superb filters and beefy oscillators, making it ideal for baselines, arpeggios and musical monophonic sequences, but you’ll also find some cinematic sounds and thanks to some programming trickery even some polyphonic pads. 

Any of the sounds of course can have their sequencer switched off and used normal patches, basses, leads, atmospheres and mono-phonic pad sounds, giving you a full 120 sounds to work with, all tagged for use in U-he’s new browser system.

Patches feature Modwheel assignments where possible and velocity where sensible. The effects section features heavily here, reverb and chorus accentuating atmospheric patches even further, while subtle distortion and EQ is used judiciously on patches that benefit from a dry and powerful sound, such as basses.

CUBE for Repro-5 features 110 presets, inspired by both modern and vintage synth sounds.   

Repro-5’s polyphony makes it ideal for pads & plucks, but it’s unison also allows for stacked oscillators, detuned and panned, making it perfect for vintage baselines, scary drones, aggressive pad beds & modern dance music.  

The result is a bank mixed with the soft beautiful tones of vintage synth leads and pads, modern EDM sounds that cut a mix and lots of atmosphere and cinematic sounds. 

 The effects section is used appropriately, many presets are dry, allowing the brilliantly modeled oscillators and filters to shine.  Others make heavy use of reverb and chorus to accentuate the atmosphere and feel of certain patches even further.

The latest Spice bank is here, this time making it's way onto the DUNE 3 Engine.
Spice Vol.3 brings over 120 presets to the table and nicely rounds out the Spice Series.  This volume branches off from the previous two with it's emphasis on cinematic and re-interpreted retro sounds.  With DUNE3's engine featuring analog emulation, wavetables and FM, it covers a diverse palette of sounds with ease.

The bank features 18 basses, 14 chord, FX and drum patches, 39 Drone and Pad sounds, and 30 Arp's and Sequences.  Rounding off the bank are a further 21 Lead, pluck and keyboard patches.  The full compliment of MIDI also accompanies the bank, allowing you to recreate parts from the demo which you can drop into your songs as is, or use as a spring board for new ideas.

As with all AZS sound banks effects were used judiciously, with some sounds having a sprinkling to add to the sonic imprint, and others using them as essential components of the sound.  The end goal is that you will be able to drop these sounds in your project and use them out of the box, or as a great starting point for your own mix.
