We’re bringing the music back in the venue. We miss vibing and grooving together. The circumstances are different but the mindset remains the same. During these times we can only dance in our imagination and we want to nourish exactly that creative state of mind while respecting the rules.

Ninth Black and White Session with DJ Soulsonic a/k/a Herr Wempe.
Mr. Wempe likes music with soul. He has been DJing with records for many years and has been hosting the monthly party series "Soul Gallen" at the Palace (St. Gallen) since 2010. The musical spectrum includes Motown classics, Northern Soul rarities, deep funk, rhythm'n'blues, dancefloor jazz, boogaloo, afro-beat, rocksteady etc. It doesn't matter if it's from the 60's or today, as long as you can dance to it. As DJ Soulsonic he co-founded the internationally successful event series "Rap History", furthermore he is co-owner of the record store "OOR Records" in Zurich.

Ajele is a Swiss-Ghanaian DJ who has been shaping the sound of Zurich's electronic music scene since the mid-90s. 
What struck her early on was the noticeable absence of women behind the decks. Determined to change that narrative, she bought her first records, a pair of turntables, and a mixer. Digging for vinyl became an obsession, and playing them turned into a lifelong passion.
Since 1996, Ajele has been an integral part of Zurich’s nightlife, known for her versatility and deep musical knowledge. Her sound moves effortlessly through house, breakbeats, drum and bass, techno,  jazz and more—always guided by instinct, emotion, and a firm belief that music knows no boundaries. Her solid and ever-evolving style has earned her countless opportunities to open nights, setting the tone with grace, groove, and intent.
With three decades of dedication to her craft, Ajele continues to inspire and uplift dance floors through her sets and presence.
