@aparde: About one year with some phases of remotivation and inactivity in between. The instrumental version of the single „Hands Rest“ was the first track which I finished around late 2017. Early 2018 I recorded the vocals for it. After that, I wrote „Tar“ and decided to make a new album. (...)

Damit die Fusion 2019 gerade in diesem Moment stattfinden kann,  musste der Kulturkosmos und auch wir alle ganz schön kämpfen. Doch für „Die Freiheit der Kunst“ lohnt es sich einmal mehr aufzustehen und seine Stimme zu erheben … denn wir wollen uns unsere Kunst und Utopien nicht wegnehmen lassen.

Den Termin für diesen Podcast haben wir schon länger ausgemacht und er ist ganz zufällig auf den Fusion Termin gefallen. Als Frida und Judith mir dann den Mix geschickt haben, meinten sie „Da er zur Fusion raus kommt, haben wir uns ne kleine Sache überlegt und so eine Art "Fusion Special" gemacht (mit kleinen Pressekonferenz schnipseln am Anfang und Ende).“ Und weil die Fusion 2019 schon jetzt etwas ganz spezielles ist … wurde es auch hier ein Special. DANKE FUSION … Danke Kulturkosmos … Danke Fridi und Judi <3

atlantis? wohl eher karussell. sowas soll es ja auf rummeln meist geben - hier gibt es bekanntlich auch eine melange voller spaß - sagt man ja so. 8 cdjs? immer her damit! dazu nur einen stick? na klar! emergency loops sind da immer gern gesehen! 
quintessenz eines super turbulenten gigs: trotz kurzeitigen technischen totalausfällen, hatte ich unfassbar viel spaß und danke vorallem meinen freunden, die so zahlreich erschienen sind, sowie allen anderen tanzenden, kreischenden und lachenden! dann natürlich noch den zauberhaften schakels und der bucht für diesen tollen floor und die einladung! merci auch für die usbstick-notfallhilfe  - ohne diese wäre auf jeden fall kurz stoptanz angesagt gewesen. und zuletzt noch ans schrottpourri für's outfit in schrottcouture. alles in allem wohl eine runde sache! danke für diesen tollen start ins festival <3

Wednesday morning somewhere in nowhere & day 3 on the playa of that magical place called Burning Man where your imagination is not limited, where money doesn't exist and everything could be possible where we had the great opportunity to play a sunrise set at Opulent Chill and couldn't be more proud of the recording and our inner playa soundtrack.

We also would like to thank each and everyone of you we met and who made this burn so special and a special thanks to @opulent-chill for inviting us to their beautiful, chilled camp and the great hospitality and everything <3

Witchtape #55 | Guest Wizz : leschueft ‘Heimlich Im Hexenwald’ 

(Story continued from Witchtape #50)
After the sage – accompanied by his trusted guide owl – sneaked stealthily into the forest, he sensed an unusually serene energy.  The animals were not shy at all, and when he noticed that many of them were moving slowly into one particular direction, he decided to follow this unusual procession until it ground to a halt while all the animals looked into the distance.  The sage looked into the same direction and what he saw left him completely petrified.  In a nearby clearing he saw a young girl – maybe still in her teens - with very long brown hair and an immaculately white dress frolic with some wolves.  The sage didn’t know whether to hide or flee, but when he saw all the forest dwellers around him watching this spectacle in a relaxed mood, he concluded it was OK to keep on observing this mystery girl while staying out of sight in order not to disturb her.
The sage wasn’t sure whether this girl was a fairy or maybe a witch, but she obviously wasn’t an ordinary human being.  After a few minutes, the little girl started collecting some firewood.  The nearby animals immediately started to help her, with a couple of magpies flying in some twigs while two wolves and a few squirrels swiftly collected some pieces of wood and laid it at the feet of the young witch.  With all this help, it only took a few minutes before a small pile of firewood was lying in front of the barefoot girl.  After indicating that there was enough wood now, she took a small cauldron and filled it with some fresh water from a nearby stream.  She also picked a selection of herbs and mushrooms and when all the ingredients had been gathered, she put the cauldron on the fireplace and with an elegant hand movement, she lighted a floating spark which gently found its way to the firewood and set it ablaze.  The sage was dumbfounded by this magic spectacle, and so was his guide owl who sat on his shoulder all the time.  With calm and unhurried movements, the girl put all the ingredients into the cauldron and gently stirred the brew.  Meanwhile the sage asked himself how the dress of this barefoot forest girl could be so immaculately white.  After about half an hour, the brew seemed to be ready and the witch took the cauldron away from the fire to let it cool down.  Meanwhile, she sat down on an old log and stretched out her arm, and within seconds a beautiful white owl landed on her hand.  Her smile was pleasant and warm, yet the sage sensed that it would not be a good idea to disturb this young witch.  A few minutes later, the white owl flew away while the sage sensed that his trusted guide owl started to become restless until all of a sudden the bird flew up from his shoulder and headed straight towards the girl, who was pleasantly surprised when the owl landed on her hand.  She immediately noticed that this bird belonged to an exotic species she had never seen before and she observed the wonderful creature with great curiosity.  The witch spoke some soft words to the little owl and looked at him with a radiant smile.  She knew perfectly how to handle little owls, and soon the bird was lying on his back in the palm of her hand with his wings spread open, while the girl gave him a playful massage on his belly, which pleased the little owl so much that he closed his eyes.  The sage couldn’t believe it.  His guide owl was his inseparable companion for the last 2 years, yet he had never allowed him to cuddle him in the way the witch was doing.  It was a moment of pure magic.  After a couple of minutes, the girl put the bird on his feet again and gave him a tender little kiss, after which the owl seemed to wake up from his state of blissful hypnosis and flew back to the sage, who quickly ducked behind a bush so that witch wouldn’t spot him…

We fell asleep in one world and woke up in another. Suddenly Disney is out of magic, Paris is no longer romantic, New York doesn’t stand up anymore, The Chinese wall is no longer a fortress, and Mecca is empty.
Hugs and kisses suddenly become weapons, and not visiting parents and friends becomes an act of love. Suddenly you realize that power, beauty and money are worthless, and can't get you the oxygen you're fighting for. The world continues its life and it is beautiful. It only puts humans in cages. 
I think it's sending us a message:
"You are not necessary. The air, earth, water and sky without you are fine. When you come back, remember that you are my guests. Not my masters.” @aka_tony

Where Do We Come From? What Are We? Where Are We Going? Besides being the name of a famous Gauguin painting, these are questions that have most probably been valid for any given time period. In ancient Greece, Socrates believed that the purpose of the human mind is to explore the nature of virtue in order to perfect the soul and build a life based on ethical knowledge. Epicurus thought, meanwhile, that the goal of living is to receive pleasure, not sensory though, but through getting rid of physical pain, emotional restlessness, suffering and fear of death. Medieval Europe and India, despite cultural differences, had the same understanding of the meaning of life – worship of ancestors, adherence to common religious and mythical ideals, and the importance of ascribed status. Schopenhauer defined a person’s life as the product of a metaphysical will: people think they act on their own, but are in reality driven by someone else’s will. Danish philosopher Kierkegaard argued that life is full of absurdity and that humans must create their own values in an indifferent world. Pragmatic philosophers believe that instead of searching for the truth about life, people should seek a useful understanding of life. And so on and so forth. Natural disasters, epidemics, wars, the rich and the poor will come and go, but questions about the meaning of life and those who seek answers for them have always been and will forever be there. The text turned out this way perhaps because when listening to @oh_why’s music, you want to either ask yourself Gauguin’s questions or be the one who finds the answers.
