The quartet from Jersey City was formed as a natural byproduct of singer-songwriter's Darryl Joo's debut album, "American Ghost," released in 2018 under Project BWQ.

Simplifying the concept from 14 collaborators to a more standard 4-piece band, the project was renamed BWQ in 2018. "Crack Up" was released July 26, 2019.
In partnership with Astral publishing, it was re-released as "One by One" in January 2020.

"Everybody Stand Up Straighter!" is scheduled for Spring 2021.

I am an American teenager in love with music. I love blues, rock...blues rock, classic rock, RnB, hip hop, 80's pop, and pretty much everything else. Some musical inspirations - though I am not as good as them - would be John Mayer, Jimi Hendrix, Alicia Keys, MGMT. and the 1975. I also love Tosin Abasi, though he is not my genre at all.

Hello, I'm Iven.

I write and compose a wide variety of music and songs. Presently I'm working on children's songs in Danish and hope to soon upload the results here. I have also recently collaborated with Sofie Guillois Larsen producing English lyrics for a couple of her songs.

I write and compose everything from jazz to military tunes and have written for musicals, most recently a production of "A Christmas Carol". When not producing commissioned works, my chosen genre is indie-pop/rock, although I also dabble in a spot of country and folk music.

It's nice to finally join up here and I look forward to becoming an active member of the Soundcloud crowd.
