Skyle - Private Bush Set (25 Sep 22)

What an experience!! Such an honour to share the stage with so many folks I've looked up to for so long, let alone the stage its self!! Look at that!! Such a collaboration and to see myself surrounded by toggles' fine work still has me pinching myself!!

This is my set, re-recorded at home to re create the experience as best I could with perhaps a couple of tweaks. Its taken a little longer than expected but the stars just hadn't been aligning. I do appreciate the patience, though!

Big thanks to everyone that was a part of that beautiful weekend. Many stories of transformation and growth have come from New Dawn and everything the new year brings and this set was put together with this in mind. I curated this to be the soundtrack to my year, of sorts. Its been an amazing rollercoaster of a year for myself and my family, this little journey is my psychedelic interpretation of that. From raising puppies and growing our beautiful 4 legged family to relaxing in mother nature and all the chaos, hard work, repetition, joy and happiness in between! I hope you enjoy the ride!! Much love!!!

In Focus with us is DJ and producer, CORAL with "Live on the Magic Lake", a set that she says "is made to take you on a magical journey." She will be joining us for a chat following the mix. In 1998 Coral bought her first set of turntables before she even knew what she wanted to spin, all she knew was that she loved music and loved to dance. A year later when she was introduced to the irresistible sounds of Psytrance she was instantly hooked and everything just fell into place. With her insatiable appetite and joy of the music it was only natural that her DJ skills would evolve into the world of production. Coral's infectious energy and enthusiasm behind the decks, along with the full power of her musical storytelling, has her traveling to perform at festivals around the globe. Coral finds her inspiration in the studio from living on a beautiful lake in the mountains of the northwest U.S. where she is able to create Psytrance while surrounded by nature. Her true bliss comes from being on stage and sharing her creations with a packed dance floor while dancing her own ass off as well.

YPMG [Be Psychedelic] IT
Is a psychedelia-influenced electronic music project founded around late 2017 by Giampaolo Falqui, Italian born.
Music addict and audiophile since childhood, growing his first musical background with legends such as Santana, Toto and Pink Floyd, began to approach electronic music around his mid teens. He was approached to psychedelic trance thanks to his friends in Italy, discovering a world he'd never thought existed.

If initially he was very skeptical, weeks later love started to grow between Giampaolo and the strange complexity of psychedelic trance with its complicated melodies and strong basslines, which made him begin producing his first tracks in his bedroom.

Two years later, he came out of the shell and released his first project called YaiPMG, getting inspired by artists like Astrix, Ritmo, Liquid Soul and Mandragora. He's working on to develop a unique sound which merges beautiful emotional melodies with powerful dance floor tracks.

MONYA [Be Psychedelic] PL
MONYA (Be Psychedelic/ Toruń) - She started as a leader at dance parties in the Disco style of the 80s.
A fan of German sounds, she feels good both in the light euphoric climates of Love Parade, as well as in the acidic climates of HappyHardcore or Acid Techno.
Classic electronic sounds have always accompanied her, and a good few years back she fell into the trap of trance music. This marked the beginning of a love for the Goa/psy trance style. Since January 2023, a member of the Be Psychedelic collective.

DJ Akasha is the project of Akash Sandhu, based in the enchanting landscapes of New Zealand. Born and raised in Malaysia, she grew up surrounded by the rhythmic melodies and harmonious cadences of her family's music-loving heritage.

Akasha's fascination with electronic music began at the tender age of 12, and it was later in New Zealand that she stumbled upon the captivating realm of psychedelic sounds. Her first encounter with the Dimension crew's outdoor party left her spellbound and ignited her desire to take control of the decks.

Renowned for her signature style in Night Full On, Akasha's musical journey naturally gravitated towards the realms of Dark Psy and Forest, where she discovered her love for blending the genres and pushing sonic boundaries.

Having graced numerous stages across New Zealand, Akasha made her entrancing debut at prominent events such as Alien Nation (NZ), Dimension Festival (NZ), and Xmas Moon Mountain, Thailand in the eventful year of 2014. Not long after, she secured her inaugural headline performance and appearance in prestigious events such as Lunar Dreaming 2017, Progression Sessions 2018, and Planet Express 2019 all in Australia, and Bubble Festival 2018 in Malta. Notably, she warmed up the dance floor for Virtual Light at Esoteric Festival 2018.

In the midst of the roaring Covid pandemic in late 2020, Akasha unleashed her very first 10-track compilation titled 'True Grit' with signed label BMSS Records. The release features a lineup of esteemed artists, including Braincell, Martian Arts, Tron, Architekt, Lucid Mantra, Justin Chaos, U-Grid (Prohecht & Noise Gust), Entasis, Asimilon, Junky Monkey & Kundalini.

Akasha's natural inclination leads her to explore the darker realms of psytrance, gravitating towards captivating leads harmoniously fused with powerful bass lines. Each track she selects bears her unique touch, evoking open-mindedness and inviting listeners to embark on a euphoric journey of self-discovery.
