Hello friends!

I made this mix to reflect my time in Tulum in January 2024. I felt a great energy there, and music was flowing. At that time I didn't play at any sets (too busy attending events and too stupid to bring mixing gear), but this is what I would've played if I played at Zamna, Tulum.

If I played Zamna, Tulum (March 2024)

In honor of today's celestial event, we're thrilled to share our song with you. This new version of Tamanaku came together during a powerful portal moment with the talented Reg Ina in the studio, with her voice, whistles and shruti box. We dedicate the song to those moments when the cosmos aligns to open the doors of dimensions.

As the total solar eclipse marks a chapter of transformation, may it serve as a powerful moment for stepping into a new chapter of our lives, filled with boundless possibilities.

First part of the precursor 12”-EP to Mr Raoul K’s new album, which will be released in autumn 2024. The afro house pioneer has returned to his home country Côte d'Ivoire. Raoul K: “Since I know how good and easy it is to live in my home country of Côte d'Ivoire, I drew a line in Germany and set off.” So he’s back in full effect with spiritual afro-tinged gems, catching the vibe and easier living there, and discovered Sidney Simila, a new voice from Kenya. Mr Raoul K feat. Sidney Simila - Sinkere [Compost]

During his latest trip to Japan, label owner Robbie Akbal fully immersed himself in Japanese culture by spending a month in Tokyo. During his stay, he had the opportunity to collaborate with some of the city's finest artists, including Reo Matsumoto, Akira Arasawa, and Mamazu.

These connections led to several studio sessions at Reo's place, resulting in the creation of "Ärcadia." This collaboration features Reo Matsumoto on the handpan, creating hypnotic melodies, Mamazu contributing quirky sounds, Akira playing melodies on various Asian instruments, and Robbie blending everything with his signature groove and tribal vision.

In addition to the original track, the remix duties were handled by the Happy Camper boys, Noraj Cue & Unders. Their remix is a masterpiece that maintains the mystic vibe and Asian feel of the original while introducing hypnotic, classy driven dance floor elements.
