@mrdoris is a hugely well regarded DJ plying his trade between Ibiza and The UK. As a selector involved in some of the Ibiza's most successful club nights over the last decade he has already built up a strong following. 2021 has also seen him have a serious break through year as a producer with ace releases and collaborationss coming via Ghetto Disco, In It Together, Bombstrikes and Black Riot. 

His latest track Dance With Somebody see's him yet again teaming up with Sydney based producer @d-funk to drop the insanely catchy Dance With Somebody via @slightlytransformed. With remixes coming from another LV favourite The Owl this is a great package.

The Real Thing E.P.

This E.P. is the result of a chance encounter here in Palermo, our hometown. Everything starts back in the end of 2019, when I went to a show of this band called “Smuggler Brothers”. I really enjoyed the sound and the influences, so I decided to buy their record and, at the end of the show, I met the guys to have a little chat.
In the very next days I immediately started working on a song sampling some clavinet part from their first album. So I called Roberto (guitar) to let him listen to the result, he liked it and he laughed, telling me that Giovanni (keyboards) wouldn't be too happy about someone “stealing” his music (ahah)!  He was making fun of me, of course! 
In the end Giovanni really liked the track! 
So, we met for a beer and started talking about our tastes in music and differents outlooks between a music producer and a musician, so we thought it would be a great idea to work together and see what came out of it.
Then, sadly, the pandemic came into our lives. But, at the same time, this gave us the opportunity to work on original material and experience with this new project. 
These tracks are the first result of the whole story, the encounter between our influences, funk/disco house and 70s library music/soundtracks.
