The age of sonic medicine continues to unfold in the shape of Poranguí and Liquid Bloom’s landmark curative music collection, ‘Kuya Sessions: Cura.’ Created as an aural container for the cutting-edge frontiers of psychedelic-assisted therapy, this extrasensory journey invites listeners to cross the threshold into the realm of shadow and light, uniting the principles of indigenous wisdom, plant medicine, and holistic psychology with the world-bridging potential of cinematic sound design.

Designed for Kuya, a state-of-the-art health clinic in Austin, TX that is incorporating paradigm-shifting therapeutics, integrative psychiatry, and regenerative medicine into a visionary approach to trauma processing and healing, ‘Cura’ offers seekers a soundtrack for their journeys toward rebalancing, and is now lovingly shared with listeners everywhere on behalf of Kuya and producers Amani Friend and Poranguí.

Embedded with the sonic signature of the world’s oldest musical lineages and enhanced with field recordings and samples from across the globe, ‘Kuya Sessions: Cura’ is best experienced in its “Journey Mix” format, where the boundaries between movements are as ephemeral as the voyage itself. In preparation for embarking on this ritualistic path, one is invited to create an environment for inner-exploration with the help of a quiet and dark room, headphones, an eye mask, and an intention of healing and discovery. 

The first installment in this four-part release series, ‘Cura’ draws upon a grounding array of instruments, vocalizations, and therapeutic musical stylings while showcasing Poranguí and Amani Friend’s tenacity for surreal, multi-dimensional sound. Distilled from the intention of providing listeners a path toward healing and a safe space from which to embark on that odyssey, ‘Kuya Sessions: Cura’ will continue to reveal itself with each subsequent visit for all who desire its therapeutic guidance.

On a peak Summer's night in the misty coastal forests of Oregon (USA)... 400 souls commenced in a mushroom-cacao journey that span over 6 DJ/Producers - riding the waves of the 5 rhythms. The set was opened with a 12 piece choir (un-recorded) to share a vision of the abundance of heaven on earth.

Our first Ecstatic Dance going back to back upon the Autumn Equinox with our Melbourne Ecstatic Dance Community! 2.5 hrs of power, a whole lotta bass fun and wild warm hearted vibes! 

We start slow and deep riding the waves through a diverse terrain, taking it high and wide through the rhythmic realms , throwing the frequencies into a frenzy of ecstatic heights, then descending into sweet sensual blends of many a tune.

Super excited to share this truly beautiful journey of the Hummingbird. This is one of my favourites so far! I personally love every single track to bits! This was a very special all ages dance on Mother's Day. Such a treasure to witness so many little humans and parents coming to dance. More to come for sure ;)

This is the mix from my first official DJ set, in Costa Rica with such a vibrant community of dancers celebrating life and moving  to the rhythm of all of creation. 

Many people from around the world came to the area for the Envision festival, and are still here, dancing through the pandemic. The energy was full of love and celebration of life, as everyone dropped into that sacred space of embodying the music as the cosmos danced through.   

Proceeds funded water protection efforts to stop mining companies from polluting the Baru River in Costa Rica, and also supported the Conscious Collectivo NGO for Earth regeneration projects, school for local children, creating community gardens, more events, the Baru River Water Protection project.
