I played a 6hr set during the final closing month of Amsterdam’s legendary club institution De School. Here’s a 5hr extract from the set, recorded live in December 2023

Akudama’s latest release “Strut Sequence” is a fierce yet hypnotic techno weapon - driving drums and dark grooves that command the dancefloor. A woman’s voice softly yet confidently intones, “I’m walking, I’m strutting, I’m talking, I’m moving,” wrapping raw movement in a sensual caress that balances power and allure.

The track was born from the spirit of FLUIDICA, a queer techno event series Akudama curates in Seoul, South Korea. Conceived as an all‑inclusive safe space for queer communities and allies, FLUIDICA blends hard electronic music with drag, vogue, and burlesque performance - fusing sonic force with body‑moving freedom.

Likewise, “Strut Sequence” holds no breaks: its relentless rhythm and hypnotic vocal loop echo the unstoppable energy of the party, while still weaving a deeply sexy, trance‑like spell.

This is techno built for self‑expression and liberation: a track that struts as hard as it hypnotises, rooted in community and charged with confidence. It’s Akudama’s statement: unapologetic, fierce, and fluid.
