Something to think about...

doctors, lawyers, mechanics (...) Noone works for free- why should musicians do?
Learning to play instruments & keeping being able to, composing, producing, rehersals/studio-sessions... all this is hard work, and in the end
it will really have taken a lot of time and effort to finalize a professional piece or track. 
New download-platforms like spotify, itunes etc. pay 0,0X cents per click while the musician and clients have to accept lots of doubtful advertisement. Only a few artists can really get the profit to make a living with that.

Experimentating with synthesizers and samplers for decades (first synth in 1979)
Producing-experience since early 90th (starting up with hybrid-studio using multitrack-machines
synhronized with atari/Midi) 

jazz-musician, many world-influences, cooperating with singers, musicians and therapists round the globe.

Not religious but tending to openminded buddhism.

Too many musical influences and "rolemodels" (though i do not like that term)to mention all...
