This week we are thrilled to welcome back Aglaia Rave, German DJ/producer and former owner of Cosmos Radio.

Aglaia got acquainted with electronic music at age 16, thanks to her brother. She absorbed the sounds of Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Fischer-Z., Pink Floyd, Front 242 and others. 

In 2012, Aglaia went to work at an Italian radio station. The following year she opened their web radio, «Radio Deephouseparade» which worked quite successfully. In 2016 she made the jump to open «CosmosRadio.de» which continues to this day. Its programs delight a large number of people around the world and offer programming in the styles of house, techno, progressive house, deep house and tech house.

She is featured on many online radio stations such as TM-Radio.com, Etymologie and more recently UGM radio, ElbrusRadio.ru, ART Radio Online, Hits4You.fm & ENCYCLOPEDIA SUPPORTS ARTISTS by LEO BΔROSO & TheDeeproom Beachgrooves Radio Ibiza 101.1 FM. You can expect nice blends and precise mixing with Aglaia Rave’s sets and that will make you go in a hypnotic groove.

Lucas Zarate is a young DJ/producer born in 2001 in Tucumán, in the north of Argentina.

From a young age, he became interested in the world of electronic music, exploring its more commercial side and discovering sounds that would later lead him to find a unique sound.

At the age of 18, he began his career as a DJ playing in well-known venues in his city, where he would form and slowly develop a distinctive sound.

In 2021 Lucas began to develop as a music producer trying to captivate the ears of his listeners with fresh sounds, forceful rhythms and interesting melodies. Lucas continues to search for a sound that truly represents him but along the way he has already had enough achievements to know that he is on the right path, through support from Nick Warren, Sebastien Leger and Gorje Hewek.

In the year 2023, Lucas joins forces with prominent figures in the organic scene such as Dulus, Molac, Alberto Hernandez, and Nicolas Viana to form the musical collective called "Sendas." The collective is dedicated to spreading electronic sounds with a Latin flavour. Currently, the project is gaining recognition and support from renowned artists in the scene, including Sebastien Leger, Gorje Hewek, and M.O.S, among others.

Narahate is a talented DJ and producer hailing from the picturesque city of Baku, Azerbaijan. He embarked on his musical journey over a decade ago, applying his unique skills in the art of DJing and cultivating talents in the realm of production.

Narahate quickly distinguished himself with a profound interest in progressive house, which subsequently defined his creative direction. Over the years, he has had the privilege of sharing the stage with influential artists such as Guy J and Tantum, marking significant milestones in his musical career and bringing forth new and inspiring experiences.

Additionally, Narahate is the creator and host of his own podcast titled "RAHAT SESSIONS," where he invites talented DJs to share their perception of progressive music, contributing to the flourishing of the musical community. Currently, he proudly holds the position of a resident DJ in the SOLONG LIVE project, where his creative contributions continue to play a crucial role in the development of the music scene.

Narahate's mission lies in crafting music that transports listeners on a unique musical journey. With each passing year, he strives for new heights, inviting all who share his love for progressive house to join him on this captivating musical adventure.

Luca is a talented DJ and producer originating from the vibrant city of Rosario, Argentina. This week we are very happy to continue to share the depth and quality of our electronic music scene as we welcome another great local artist. Based in our sister city of Gatineau, Tonuhalan is known in the national capital for his various radio shows, including the Acxit Radio Experience and Discotheque Friday on Blast the Radio, and for epic live performances at various bars and clubs including Underground, Dekcuf, Tiki, Gold Bar, Avant-Garde and others.

In keeping with our flavour, this session is progressive, but Tonuhalan also spins techno, deep house and afro house. His energetic mixing style reflects his experience as a DJ and producer. You’ll feel the clubby energy from this set and it will keep you at the edge of your seat!

ABOUT OTTAWA PROG VIBES

Alain M.'s weekly podcast, Ottawa Prog Vibes, is now in its 7th year and is a recognized presence among Canadian Electronica shows. The show has two goals: showcase progressive DJ's from Ottawa (and Canada) to a global audience, and bring international DJ guests to an Ottawa (and Canadian) audience). 

Alain plays three out of every 10 shows. His mixing has been noted as particularly creative and smooth, a skill that allow his sets to be experienced as seamless stories.

An offshoot series, called Mellow Prog Vibes, is released every two weeks and focuses on more chill vibes, slightly more downtempo, to create a more relaxed vibe. It is curated by OPV resident DJ Boraa, who plays every other episode, with guest DJs playing the alternate.

Ottawa Prog Vibes and Mellow Prog Vibes are broadcast weekly on UK's Saturo Radio, New York's Chill Lover Radio and Ottawa's Blast the Radio.


ABOUT ALAIN M.

Alain M. started dj’ing in his early 20s and played a variety of clubs, big and small, in Ottawa, Montreal and Kingston. From teenage influences in progressive rock, metal and blues, and later New York and Chicago house, Dutch techno and early trance, his style has evolved towards the more melodic, infectiously rhythmic and thoughtful sounds of progressive house, with a particular fondness for Argentinian productions.

Over his 30+ years as a DJ, Alain has cultivated a signature melodic, danceable, and thoughtful style with enough surprises to keep even the most devout listeners on their toes. His live events, organized only a few times annually, are a hypotonic, transformational experience for attendees, putting the Nation’s Capital on the map for electronic music. He has organized and collaborated in a number of events including Levitar, Sunday Meet & Beat, Sit-Down Sessions, Shake my Thursday and Expeditions, attracting a thoughtful crowd who stay mesmerized by his melodic, danceable sets, always peppered with delightfully unexpected sonic elements.

Alain M. is also a guest DJ submitting regular sets to several radio and online outlets. He is a resident on X-Beat Radio (France, Belgium). He was a monthly resident on Abyss Sound Experience on QuestLondon Radio in 2021 and on UK-based Beach Radio between 2021 and 2024.

He has appeared as a guest on a number of shows in several countries including the UK, Argentina, Spain, Poland, Brazil, Sri Lanka, Peru, Turkey, Israel and the US. In Canada, he has been featured as a guest DJ at several events by Ottawa-based Music.Art.Ppl, on CHUO FM’s Vanguard Pulse Radio, on CKCU FM’s Lost In Bass and Mapped Out Radio, on Montreal’s Afterhour radio show and on Toronto’s ION radio show.
