This week we are thrilled to welcome back Aglaia Rave, German DJ/producer and former owner of Cosmos Radio.

Aglaia got acquainted with electronic music at age 16, thanks to her brother. She absorbed the sounds of Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Fischer-Z., Pink Floyd, Front 242 and others. 

In 2012, Aglaia went to work at an Italian radio station. The following year she opened their web radio, «Radio Deephouseparade» which worked quite successfully. In 2016 she made the jump to open «CosmosRadio.de» which continues to this day. Its programs delight a large number of people around the world and offer programming in the styles of house, techno, progressive house, deep house and tech house.

She is featured on many online radio stations such as TM-Radio.com, Etymologie and more recently UGM radio, ElbrusRadio.ru, ART Radio Online, Hits4You.fm & ENCYCLOPEDIA SUPPORTS ARTISTS by LEO BΔROSO & TheDeeproom Beachgrooves Radio Ibiza 101.1 FM. You can expect nice blends and precise mixing with Aglaia Rave’s sets and that will make you go in a hypnotic groove.

Lucas Zarate is a young DJ/producer born in 2001 in Tucumán, in the north of Argentina.

From a young age, he became interested in the world of electronic music, exploring its more commercial side and discovering sounds that would later lead him to find a unique sound.

At the age of 18, he began his career as a DJ playing in well-known venues in his city, where he would form and slowly develop a distinctive sound.

In 2021 Lucas began to develop as a music producer trying to captivate the ears of his listeners with fresh sounds, forceful rhythms and interesting melodies. Lucas continues to search for a sound that truly represents him but along the way he has already had enough achievements to know that he is on the right path, through support from Nick Warren, Sebastien Leger and Gorje Hewek.

In the year 2023, Lucas joins forces with prominent figures in the organic scene such as Dulus, Molac, Alberto Hernandez, and Nicolas Viana to form the musical collective called "Sendas." The collective is dedicated to spreading electronic sounds with a Latin flavour. Currently, the project is gaining recognition and support from renowned artists in the scene, including Sebastien Leger, Gorje Hewek, and M.O.S, among others.

ABOUT ALBERTO BLANCO:

Alberto Blanco was born in La Plata, Argentina. His enthusiasm for both modern and electronic music gave way to a rather large and varied collection of discs. 

At the start of the millennium, his main influences were Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed, Sasha, Steve Lawler, Dave Seaman, Sander Kleinenberg, Timo Mass, Danny Howells among other great leaders of the electronic music scene. 

His interests and path towards his destiny began to define themselves in 2006 which lead him to roots of electronic music when he moved to Ibiza where he began his career as a formal DJ.

Numbred started exploring electronic music in the early 2000s. A pivotal moment in his career was being selected as one of the lucky few in a DJ competition organized by Free IA , which allowed him to perform within the legendary walls of Home. This experience laid the foundation for the coming years, enabling him to perform at numerous venues across Hungary.

In the 2010s, he became a regular part of the Hello Sundays show on Justmusic.Fm, and after the station closed, he continued with weekly guest appearances on Prime.Fm.

Over the years, his musical style evolved significantly. Initially, he was drawn to Progressive House, Deep House but the sound and influence of the All Day I Dream label, launched by Lee Burridge, made a profound impact on him. Today, he represents the world of Melodic and Organic House, while occasionally revisiting Progressive House in his sets.

Throughout his career, he has performed at iconic events and venues, including the Sziget Festival, and regularly plays at some of Budapest’s most popular spots. He is also a resident DJ for the S/ALON Budapest exhibitions.

For the past three years, he has been part of the Balatonica Radio team, where his own show: When The Night Falls, airs on Saturday evenings, captivating listeners with its unique atmosphere.

This week we travel back to the Caucasus and to the beautiful nation of Azerbaijan where our next guest, K9, is based. His passion for music since childhood led him to study the violin. Along with his interest in electronics and technology, Kenan also studied the technical aspects of music. 

After discovering electronic music, he began to try himself in the genres of ambient, progressive house and techno. His sets were met with great interest from listeners of both local and international radio stations. Over time, K9 developed his own style of mixing music, aiming to present listeners with a unique atmosphere and theme in each set. In each set, Kenan creates a soundscape that transcends time and space, combines different emotions and draws the listener into his world.

ABOUT OTTAWA PROG VIBES

Alain M.'s weekly podcast, Ottawa Prog Vibes, is now in its 7th year and is a recognized presence among Canadian Electronica shows. The show has two goals: showcase progressive DJ's from Ottawa (and Canada) to a global audience, and bring international DJ guests to an Ottawa (and Canadian) audience). 

Alain plays three out of every 10 shows. His mixing has been noted as particularly creative and smooth, a skill that allow his sets to be experienced as seamless stories.

An offshoot series, called Mellow Prog Vibes, is released every two weeks and focuses on more chill vibes, slightly more downtempo, to create a more relaxed vibe. It is curated by OPV resident DJ Boraa, who plays every other episode, with guest DJs playing the alternate.

Ottawa Prog Vibes and Mellow Prog Vibes are broadcast weekly on UK's Saturo Radio, New York's Chill Lover Radio and Ottawa's Blast the Radio.


ABOUT ALAIN M.

Alain M. started dj’ing in his early 20s and played a variety of clubs, big and small, in Ottawa, Montreal and Kingston. From teenage influences in progressive rock, metal and blues, and later New York and Chicago house, Dutch techno and early trance, his style has evolved towards the more melodic, infectiously rhythmic and thoughtful sounds of progressive house, with a particular fondness for Argentinian productions.

Over his 30+ years as a DJ, Alain has cultivated a signature melodic, danceable, and thoughtful style with enough surprises to keep even the most devout listeners on their toes. His live events, organized only a few times annually, are a hypotonic, transformational experience for attendees, putting the Nation’s Capital on the map for electronic music. He has organized and collaborated in a number of events including Levitar, Sunday Meet & Beat, Sit-Down Sessions, Shake my Thursday and Expeditions, attracting a thoughtful crowd who stay mesmerized by his melodic, danceable sets, always peppered with delightfully unexpected sonic elements.

Alain M. is also a guest DJ submitting regular sets to several radio and online outlets. He is a resident on X-Beat Radio (France, Belgium). He was a monthly resident on Abyss Sound Experience on QuestLondon Radio in 2021 and on UK-based Beach Radio between 2021 and 2024.

He has appeared as a guest on a number of shows in several countries including the UK, Argentina, Spain, Poland, Brazil, Sri Lanka, Peru, Turkey, Israel and the US. In Canada, he has been featured as a guest DJ at several events by Ottawa-based Music.Art.Ppl, on CHUO FM’s Vanguard Pulse Radio, on CKCU FM’s Lost In Bass and Mapped Out Radio, on Montreal’s Afterhour radio show and on Toronto’s ION radio show.
