Mooky Musik Recordings songwriting and producing music concept was firstly created on Soundcloud in 2011 to help Michael as music therapy for being in recovery as an ex-addict and to help other  musicians in recovery help with drug addiction and also inspire ex-addicts to make music as self-therapy!

Mooky Musik Recordings Songwriting Mission Statement:

Michael is on an ongoing music journey of self discovery and recovery from 1996, by songwriting and  producing music for self-therapy, and to help inspire others who are suffering in silence from drug addiction, mental health problems and symptoms as a coping mechanism in recovery!
In 1996, at the age of 19 years old, Michael suffered from drug addiction and drug induced pschosis and spent 10 weeks in rehab. 
It was the most traumatic experience of his life as an aspiring artist and songwriter-producer.

Michael A Smith is also ND Transformational Coach on a mission is to inspire others to create healthy addictions like listening to and making music, helping inspire others to  cope with their ND or mental health symptoms as musicians to help guide them to their own birthright of inner-peace, mental wellbeing to make music for self-therapy and to potentially treat their diagnosis alongside a mental health treatment globally!

A man who needs little introduction, Southampton born techno legend Alan Fitzpatrick has spent the last decade carving out his musical niche and holding rank in the upper echelons of the underground electronic world. Few artists can claim to have headlined Berghain and also had a hit on daytime BBC Radio 1, but then there aren’t many artists like Alan Fitzpatrick. 

One of the most popular techno DJs in the world, he has rubbed shoulders with the likes of Carl Cox and Adam Beyer for the best part of a decade, performing at the world’s biggest clubs and festivals. Known primarily for his raw hard-edged sound, Alan has developed into one of dance music’s most versatile producers, equally at home putting out techno bangers on Drumcode as he is making disco-infused house anthems, or experimental electronica under his 3STRANGE alias, not to mention his impressive range of collaborations (including CamelPhat, Skream, Sasha, Rebūke and Jamie Jones). 

The We Are The Brave and Apex Faction label don adopts a no nonsense approach to A&R and in 5 short years Alan has welcomed some of Techno’s finest producers to his fold. I am specifically interested in situations where composers anticipate and strategize future third-party remixing of their compositions as part of a larger and complex rhetorical strategy that plays out across physical and digital spaces. We find this type of thinking—the asking of “how might the text be rewritten?” and “why, where, and for whom might this text be rewritten?”—an increasingly important set of questions in a digital age characterized, for instance, by swift, easy, and deep web searching and by copying and pasting practices. 

COLLAGE ::  Artistic compositions of materials and objects pasted and/or sewn/woven over and through surfaces, often with unifying and/or juxtaposing structures, lines, colors, themes in order to create textured, alive, amplified spaces. 

SYNTHESIS (AKA Mashup): Creating Compelling Texts comprised of borrowed, reconstituted, and original material.
