The Cycles is really hard to use as mainistrument. It is a very smart groovebox but i'ts most power lays in sequencing of drums, hats, perussion. It's got an analog Synthesizer for the Tone and Chord Section and its Factiry Synth Section with 204 Synth Effects, 36 FX Effects, 37 Hats, 80 Kickdrums etc. Everything is nice. FM Synthesis and enough samples. It is just fcking hard to sequence your melody and Attack/Acid and Klang Lines because yku have to do it with notes. You can scale every note by its own. So I've you finaly have a Groovebox with a wonderful analog Synthesizer but to hard to use as beginner. I is quite funny. Often beginners think the cycles where a Groovebox for beginners. But it isn't (it is a typical elektron instrument), tricky to use, a hundred different functions to explore and you have to take very much time and love to become friends with the cycles and it's functions. In this acid mental set i show you that the symbiosis of me and the machine is going on. A cycles is a professional instrument for especially drum sequences and able to bring smoove side effects. Harder styles, harder tasks. So my recommend about the cycles: Top drums, a (very hard and special to handle) analog Synthesizer but if you learned to scale your Steps and check out the drum fill pattern, the retrigger and its rolling, an effect tiimer and four FM Synth Controls: (Sweep, Contour, Color and Shape and 4 Sync Controls: (Pitch, Reverb, Decay and Delay <=The Delay timer of tge cycles is unique and last but not least it's six machines (Kick, Metal, Snare, Perc, Tone and Chord) which are a controlable with the FM Controls. So if you take your time andearn love this little Diva underr the Grooveboxes you will suprised with an absolut unique analog Tekno Flow. If you MIDI advice it with an TD3/TB303 kt is the perfect machine for full analog Acid Mental, Acid Tribe, Tekno Tribe, Acidcore, Mentalcore. My next idea is to buy a Behringer Crave to synth all the grooves i as am not able to do with the cycles. But everyone who decides to buy the cycle as first analog machine and your mainistrument of your workstation. Prepare for a travel through the lands of FM Synthesis and a Groovebox which is abled to give you a modern Techno or Trance Groove or Tekno in oldschool Style. I need much more instruments but the cycles will stay the heart of my workstation. It's drum blast heads away

Only completely done Tracks. As second I am also an a full analog Tekno Producer. So I only use hardware to produce my sound and each track is a live record. I do my music with my little treasure elektron cycles as main instrument, the Behringer TD3 ( full analog TB Bassline Synthesizer), The little but very powerful Behringer XenxyQ502USB Controller and Audio Evolution DAW for Android to record, mix, tune and convert my sound to upload it. (I have to say I am an Android Producer because I have no Laptop or PC, just Phone and Tablet) so I have to use the opportunites for Android. Thank the gods there are genius people who are programming high quality software for Android and I got two very good Producing DAW's and will take the time soon how to compose a professional track like somebody who uses Cubase or propellerhead for PC. For producing I have a high quality Studio with FX Section, Mastering, Section, Audio Grid Section (you can also use as launchpad, a very smart Step Sequenzer with high and  opportunites and its got a VA-Beast Section. With this Studio I am abled to make the same professional sound like the famous artists. I payed with the hard edit and the Psy Max Upgrade 35€ for it and soon I will check it out how to produce a professional Track with Android, because it is possible. Than I got Caustic 3. A lot of people laugh about Caustic 3 because it is looking very simple and it seems like it where a child's play to create a simple beat but if you take your time to explore this little weirdo you'll see it is good for beginners but also very good for professionals. Caustic 3 comes with an virtual Modular Synthesizer, a virtual TB Synthesizer, a virtual KSS Synthesizer, a Vocoder for each instrument, a virtual PCM Synth Machine and this are just 5 of 16 other sections you can play in pattern or song mode. It has an virtual FX Compressor where you can Effect each Instrument and for fu Tracks it is okay when you want to do Tekno Tribe, Minimal Techno, Acid Techno and more simple Styles but in a very professional way. The legal fullversion costs 7,99 for Android this is awesome. Now I do record, mix, tune and convert my Sound with Audio Evolution. It is okay but the quality isn't very high, the equiliziers are not strong enough, to sample DAW Sequences is too comicated and it isn't really latent with my Hardware. After downloading the Audio analog Interface Packet 5 € +the Price for the "Fullversion" of Audio Evolution I was disappointed with the results. But now comes the big Change. At the 31. January I will download the Steinberg Cubasis 3 DAW. It is simular like Ableton Live 19-11 just configured for Android (Touchscreen) It will change everything. It is very easy to make a mix of analog recorded patterns and mix it with a sequence/sample you composed in a DAW. My opportunies will grow for 40% more Sound Performance and I am so excited. So I do here a mix from Acid Tekno/Acid Mental/Mental Tribe, Mentalcore and this all full analog. I learned it all by myself and you are welcome to watch live the coming up of my Tribal Impact/full analog acid project😁
