The term "artist to watch" gets thrown around a lot these days, especially with the volume of new artists entering the scene with unprecedented access to tracks, information, and technology. Often, however, it's a certain attitude that elevates the true heads above the groundswell of an ocean of new artists, and Connor Wall is unquestionably of this ilk.

Inspired from past, present and future experiences - Connor's creative constancy has allowed him to shape his sound into the organic, weighty, and effective tracks you can hear on labels like Treatment, Float, Phorum and WSNWG.  There is a potent, heart-palpitating sonic representation that accompanies anything Connor does, and part of the reason why he is such an exciting prospect leading into the future. His devotion to a particular sound and approach has driven his ability to grow rapidly since entering the scene just a few years ago, and it is this obsession that will continue to allow him to blossom. He’s an artist to watch by all accounts, and whether it’s DJing or producing, he is emerging as an essential feature of Australia.

The AMTK+ series on Amotik’s self-titled imprint gives room for friends and admired artists to present their futuristic take on techno. For the fifth edition, Italian producer D-Leria joins the team and presents two highly effective, booming techno trips. The first track, ‘Filterbank’ sets the tone with its punching kick-drums mangled in between buzzing bass lines. His second track, ‘Let It Be’ shows a rare side from D-Leria where he uses mesmerising vocal chops to create an immersive, driving techno tool. On the flip side, Argentinian artist Translate comes in with some excellent bleepy hypnotism on ‘Notation’, followed by the darker, pulsating ‘Shifted Communication’.

Gradient 002 picks up right where we left off, at 125 BPM, and gradually builds toward 130bpm.

This mix is an invitation to the dancefloor.
Elegant and deep, its grooves are warm and textured.
Hints of dub, traces of house — but the structure remains techno.
It evokes the early hours: controlled momentum, subtle tension, and poise.

INSTINKTLABLP003 by Miles Pinkert unfolds like a late-night city map – raw, flowing, reflective. It’s a record that moves between functional grooves and introspective spaces, with one foot in the club and one in a more open, abstract terrain.

“Rundown” and “Gonna Get Down” set the tone – direct, rhythmic, body-focused. Tracks like “Neo-Minimalism” and “Jezero” slow things down, drawing from restraint and atmosphere. “Year 2099” looks ahead with a cold, digital gaze, while “Come On, It’s Late” balances tension with softness. The final piece, “Raum (Space)”, lets things dissolve – wide, detached, and unresolved.

A record built on subtle contrasts: repetition and shift, density and breath.

Albert Kraft is a DJ and producer whose sound delves into the raw, groovy, and hypnotic core of classic techno. Originally from Mexico and raised in Ecuador, Albert’s journey has been shaped by a diverse cultural backdrop and over a decade immersed in Berlin’s underground scene. With a background in sound engineering and a diploma as a studio guitarist, his approach to music is both technical and deeply intuitive, blending precision with emotion.

Albert’s sets are built around storytelling, creating immersive experiences that flow through introspective moments, deep rhythms, and driving intensity. His selection draws from a vast library of techno, ambient, IDM, house, and experimental sounds—each track chosen to build a narrative that resonates on both a physical and emotional level.

While rooted in techno, Albert also plays house, bass, drum and bass, and experimental beats of all kinds, embracing a fluid and genre-blurring approach to DJing. This versatility allows him to adapt his sound to different contexts while staying true to his identity—always groovy, thoughtful, and emotionally resonant.

As a producer, Albert has released on independent labels, staying true to a sound that is both timeless and personal.
