Chuck would often introduce this song by telling the crowd that it was famously covered by Metallica. "We wrote it of course! Cough ahem..."

A few artistically tasteful variations on the original have been made for this version.

One of the composers, Joe Bouchard, listened to it and granted his royal seal of approval.

Both Derek (panned right) and Chuck (panned left) take solos during the song.

Astronomy was often the final song of a live set from The Bastard Sons of Dennis.

The percussion instrument at the beginning of this recording is an old disused CPU fan and its various danglesome janglesome appendages.

Chuck would tune his guitar to DADGAD for this interpretation of this song.

She's as Beautiful as a Foot was sometimes used to open longer Bastard Sons of Dennis performances.

Chuck had the idea to begin by walking through the venue shaking the computer fan and playing small drums, whilst handing out burning incense sticks to the audience, although that never actually happened in the end.

Derek takes the solo at the beginning.

With a shared love of electronic music but 2,500km separating us, we (GJART and BetaPSI) found each other online through AtomCollectorRecords.com. Sharing similar musical heroes, like Depeche Mode and The Human League, we quickly hit musical nirvana to create Fireproof. A homage to the electronic sounds of some of the greatest bands of the 80’s: Propaganda, Fashion, Siouxsie & The Banshees and the two above; it’s a song exploring unmet expectations of friends during difficult times.

A full time, freelance children's book illustrator, introduced to Magix music making software in January 2014.  Haven't been near music production since school about a hundred years ago.  Can't play a note, and sing like a drain unblocking - Hence any music I may eventually have the nerve to upload is all created using midi/vst instruments playing compositions created in the piano roll editor.   The Magix forum dedicated to music production is the only place to suffer my creations so far.  Didn't realise it could be so much fun though.  Woohoo.
