Over 25 years ago amidst Calgary's vibrant rave culture, J9's musical journey began, igniting a passion that continues to shape her purpose in life. In 2011, she founded J9Productions, initially captivating audiences with her unique brand of burlesque shows and live music events before transitioning to organizing House music events in 2016, notably the renowned HUMPDay HOUSE Party. 

Driven by a profound connection to music, J9 embarked on her DJing journey in 2022. Since her debut, J9 has graced the decks at prestigious events such as Wicked Woods Music Festival, and has had the honour of opening for esteemed artists like Megan Hamilton, Average Citizens & Father Funk. 

Known for her sensual, groove-filled sets, J9’s preferred sound blends House and Drum & Bass—but she loves playing anything that makes her feel good. From organic house to indie dance and downtempo, her broad musical palette brings depth and energy to every set.
