Kauan started its' existence in 2005, now 10 years ago and has woven together a beautiful texture of doom, post-rock, metal and some folk elements as well.

"Sorni Nai" is a concept album from Russian band "Kauan" that based on a true story. In someday 2 February 1959, 9 hikers went away for some point of Ural Mountains, but after months their slaughtered bodies discovered miles away.Some of bodies didn't have tongue, heart and other organs and they had brutally killed. No one find how exactly these people killed and for why, so this story remains mystery till now.
