I Am Techno

MASS Sessions #151 | Aldanya

Hailing from a family of musicians, Aldanya trained as a classical pianist in her upbringing. It is when she moved to London that she pursued her passion for electronic music and crafted her identity as a versatile - though powerful - Techno DJ & Producer. Raver at heart, she envisions the dancefloor as a transcending experience and conveys her energy through vibrant sets.

Influenced by a myriad of genres, her style does not always conform to the conventional field of Techno. She sets herself apart by selectively curating music and sounds that resonate with her. Staying true to herself, she doesn't follow trends but rather constantly renews and refines herself as an artist. Beyond Hard Industrial Techno sets, the music will hit the right spot at the right time.

Earlier this year she released her first official track "Big Rip" on Fluctuat records' RAVE 4 WOMEN, featuring other talented female producers for a special VA release in support to a charity.

As a true visionary, Aldanya quickly adapted to the new landscape the pandemic brought and has fully capitalised on online streaming, gathering a worldwide community of ravers on Twitch — where she hosts regular shows, occasionally featuring guest DJs to promote talent.

Keep an eye out for her upcoming projects and releases in 2021.

Behind the name "Bellerophon": Bellerophon is known for his capturing and taming the wild winged stallion Pegasus, something said to be impossible. With divine assistance, Bellerophon succeeded in riding the horse and set out to slay the chimera that menaced Lycia. Having slain the beast, Bellerophon's fame grew until he became convinced that he was not a mortal but a god. He tried to ride Pegasus to Mount Olympus, which so enraged Zeus that he caused Bellerophon to fall to earth and die.
