I'm taking a break from the one I love to forgive her again for leaving me broken hearted, because were trying so hard and I'm pushing her away. I just needed space from everything to figure out my life. I go to my best friends memorial site to vent my feelings and dreams to them. I find myself with a new direction with music and I noticed I was being something I'm not. I'm living a lie with my music. Everything is real but I see no fulfillment in my music from the past. I find my self taking the biggest exhale of life and just letting it all go. Leaving the past behind, never looking back at it anymore. I want to move on."

"As for the X not being there it's because X is a form of marking your territory. It's a strayed letter in the alphabet. X is an unknowing letter that needs no introduction. The X is missing from my name because I want someone to mark my X into where they see fit. I'm not meant for everyone, But for the people who really care about my music will mark their territory for themselves."

Following an impressive debut at Lollapalooza 2019 which also included an Official Lollapalooza Aftershow headline performance at Chicago’s famed Park West, Scarypoolparty has released “Cholo Love” on August 9 along with a live performance within his official video for same. Co-written by Alejandro Aranda and TJ Routon and produced by Scarypoolparty X Sawyr, the song, beautiful and melodic in nature, is in direct contrast to the video which carries a dark and mysterious vibe while showcasing his undeniable piano prowess. 

Up next for Scarypoolparty will be performances at Life Is Beautiful and Austin City Limits festivals followed by his full-band US headline tour which kicks off October 10th in Berkeley, CA. 

Additionally, tickets for Scarypoolparty’s first-ever London show set for December 10, 2019 at Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen sold out immediately during the presale earlier this week. Due to popular demand, a second show was added for December 9, 2019 and has also sold out.
