Hailing from the vibrant city of Melbourne, Sean Grimes is renowned for his impeccable taste in music and a profound connection to the world of sound. Inspired by his older brother, a respected psytrance producer in the '90s, who, at the tender age of 8, not only introduced him to electronic music but also gifted him a treasure trove of vintage drum machines and synthesizers, it was during these formative years that Sean's fascination with electronic music took root.

From an early age, Sean was a multifaceted artist, starting with classical piano training under the guidance of his grandmother, which added a rich layer of depth to his musical understanding. During his early twenties, he was a prominent figure in various bands, honing his skills and mastering the art of live performances. As he transitioned into the world of producing and DJing, his eclectic background and diverse influences would become a defining characteristic of his work.

With a primary focus on deep, groovy, and melodic progressive house, Sean’s sets take the audience on a journey that encapsulates a myriad of emotions, like a daytime Sunday session within a desert oasis. He later co-founded the Melbourne Dance Music Academy and was a key figure in forming the renowned Dingo Squad & Co. These endeavors catapulted him into the heart of Melbourne's electronic music scene, including time as a resident DJ for Thick as Thieves.

Over the years, Sean has graced numerous festivals with his mesmerizing performances, including Earthcore, Babylon, Rainbow Serpent, Esoteric, Wild Horses, and Elysium. His talent has not gone unnoticed, and he has had the honor of supporting esteemed artists such as Patrick Topping, Tube & Berger, Dense & Pika, Dennis Cruz, and many more.
