Over the last ten years, Gumm graduated from being an active promoter hosting renegade parties in obscure public spaces to performing at Melbourne's biggest festivals, including Let Them Eat Cake, Pitch Music & Arts and smalltown. As co-founder of Melbourne brand Darklove, he hosted international acts The Drifter and Damon Jee to go with regular bookings supporting Maceo Plex, DJ Koze, Jennifer Cardini, Stephan Bodzin, Job Jobse, Ben Klock, ANNA, Folamour, Mind Against and more.

Not only is he regular in Melbourne clubs (Revolver Upstairs, Bourke Street Courtyard and Glamorama to name a few), but recent performances at Melbourne's leading festivals earmarked him as an act for the bigger stage. At the end of 2020, he tasted his first interstate booking when he was flown to Byron Bay to headline a 2021 NYE event.

His recent debut single "Struck", released on Berlin-based Ombra International, the in-vogue label run by indie-dance maestro Curses, served as a crucial entry point into the global scene. The single is a highly infectious dance cut designed to suck you into its dark disco inferno, catching the attention of the underground scene's leading players. With his recent sold-out headline show selling over 500 tickets, Gumm is well situated to be at the Melbourne forefront of a new, compelling global sound with roots in genres like nu-wave, indie-dance and nu-disco. 

About The edit : " Sassafras (aka. Josh my housemate) and I were returning from buying groceries and he asked what I thought about editing Kim Wilde - You Keep Me Hangin' On. We had spoken about writing some music together so it was a perfect chance to have a play. Sass' love for the original was contagious and I soon became attached myself. The process was incredibly enjoyable and the result is now one of my favourite projects."

This reinterpretation of Depeche Mode's world hit "People are People" is MARHOLZ's first-ever edit in his relatively early career as a producer. With its positive, energetic groove, the track is perfect for putting the icing on the cake of DJ sets and getting the crowd singing along. Having just moved to Berlin, MARHOLZ enjoys experimenting with the indie dance genre while using 80s-influenced sounds and drums. Many more edits and own projects are in the starting blocks and are often accompanied by electric guitars and vocals. The release on Feinstoff is also emblematic of MARHOLZ Dj sets, which he likes to fill with positive energy and groovy basslines.

"I am a total 80’s kid, and I remember when the song came out, and I heard it on the radio. My uncle grabbed me and spun me around to the sound, and from then on, this song stuck with me until now. Whenever I hear the original track, I sing along and spin myself around for the fun of it. I love the happy vibe to it and the very positive driving power of it. Kicking 2024 off with an incredible edit on our 'X-PRESSINGS’ edit series by London-based sonic duo Beyond The Struttosphere. They're currently dominating, showcasing their considerable musical production expertise and unwavering passion for cosmic, chugging dark disco.

Their debut EP released on Gouranga Music found much acclaim among Andrew Weatherall and Sean Johnston’s A Love From Outer Space online fraternity, also appearing on Juan Mclean’s (DFA Records) contribution to Tim Sweeney’s Beats In Space mix series.
Propelled to newfound heights, the cosmic duo have since released a number of highly lauded EPs, remixes and edits on esteemed labels and now of-course on our ‘X-PRESSINGS’ edit series.

Beyond The Struttosphere’s music has made sonic reverberations around the globe and has been remixed by notable legends of the scene including; Rebolledo, Rigopolar, Vongold, Badknife and Mufti to name a few. The cosmic cowboys have been deep in the studio recently, working on new material, with live guitar now a mainstay of their productions. Their trademark sound combines resonant chugging basslines with reverbed guitar riffs, syncopated arpeggiators, 80s-inspired synths, vintage vocal samples, Italo drum fills and psychedelic 303 sequences.

Also Playable Mono is a DJ and producer from Warsaw. He started DJing in 1999 but his music journey started back in the 80s, when he was growing up. Resident DJ for many clubs in the city, 

He started producing music in 1998. Along the years he used various aliases due to all the music genres he was involved in, from deep house and house to nu disco, funky and soul, from synth pop and nu romantic to italo disco.

 In 2015 after some break he decided to become more active on italo disco field again. He relaunched his 1980s related label under a new name and started to produce remixes and his own tracks inspired by 80s electronic music. 

He has remixed and produced for Italoconnection, Savage, Peter Wilson, Eddy Huntington, Mike Mareen, Fancy, Fred Ventura, Knight$, Kristian Conde and produced for labels Flashback Records and ZYX Music.

about the edit : " First of all, I always wanted to remix "Enjoy The Silence" since the day of its release. It's one of the most important songs of my life. This italo idea of a remix was playing in my head already for a few years. I started makin' it in 2019. I put first elements together, like kick, snare and bassline and then left the project for other things. 30 anniversary was a great opportunity to finally show it to the world, so I focused on this remix only on one of september's weekends and finally here it is. Enjoy."

Berlin - Take My Breath Away (𝙉𝘼𝙍𝘼𝙉𝙅𝘼 Slow Ravy Rework) [FREE DL]

Aleito dj and producer born in Andalucia, Spain.
With more than two decades of experience, he is an artist who feels comfortable on any stage, lover of the 80's pop sound with strong synthesizers, although where he feels more comfortable is the most classic house sound, adapting his sessions for all types of audiences.

House, Nu Disco, Funk, Deep, Dark Disco or Tech, Aleito will use all his experience in the booth to adapt all these styles making the public feel at ease on any dance floor.

In his "Live" side, Aleito fills his set with arpeggiated sounds and good grooves, which he accompanies with his drum machines and synthesizers in rigorous live, improvising on the spot, which makes that none of his performances is identical to the next.
He usually uses machines like the Moog Sub 37, Moog Mother 32, Roland Tr-8, Novation Peak, Roland Sh 101, among others depending on the setup for the specific moment.

Aleito has shared the stage with talents like Dani Cassarano (Cadenza), Ninetoes, Cuartero (Sanity), James Rod (Golden Soul), Felipe Valenzuela (Cadenza), Cora Novoa, Bea Tricks and more...
It is with this last artist with whom he shares stage for Vicius Live in 2018, performing a two-hour live analog show for the renowned brand.

As for his musical works, Aleito has collaborated remixing artists such as Azaria, Tiempo de Maldad, James Rod, From Beyond, Bosek, Myrddin, Azaria, Javier Bustos, Panko, Vigi,or Devakuo, and released on labels such as Paper Disco, Love Attack, U're Guay Records and Golden Soul.

Currently, together with James Rod and Azaria, Label owner of the Spanish nu disco label "Golden Soul Records" founded in 2015 in which artists like RAYKO,COPYCAT,TULIOXI,COPA TURBO,SOMERVILLE & WILSON,SLYNC,GET DOWN EDITS,DIM ZACH,MOLINAR,RIGOPOLAR,JARLE BRATHEN,PHUNKTASTIKE,JUAN SOTO...and which will soon incorporate to its ranks great names of the international nu disco scene.
