DJ, producer and co-founder of Cowbell Radio Ed Mahon joins the Feinstoff Edit Series with his take on New Order's timeless classic.


Ed is a DJ and producer from the North of England with a strong house music background stretching back to the early 90s. Equally at home playing acid house chuggers, straight up house, disco edits or Balearic beats, he is a Festival regular, DJing all over the world, and an in-demand guest mixer. 

Production-wise his recordings and remixes have seen releases on labels such as Tici Taci, Paper, Sprechen, Nein, Hot Digits, Emerald & Doreen, Higher Love, Alpaca, Eclectics and more.

Ed is also co-founder of Cowbell Radio, an acclaimed underground radio station since 2011 and is a key part of the Alfresco Festival, he also hosts a weekly live stream on 16Loop.com

Jimmy Somerville - Smalltown Boy (Aleito 2020 Golden Rework)

As a producer based in France, initially Beatmaker/drummer in a live hip-hop band in the South-West of France, Ket'Mos now focuses on electronic music as soon as he arrives in the capital. Influenced by jazz and groove since his childhood, he performs in Paris with his project Mosleo, which often classifies him between micro-house trancy & electro-break. With his recent alias Ket'Mos, he changes his hat with a new Indie-Dance/ Dark-Disco project. This remix pays tribute to Bryan Ferry, the emblematic figure of the English band Roxy Music, who composed the track Dance Away.

This reinterpretation of Depeche Mode's world hit "People are People" is MARHOLZ's first-ever edit in his relatively early career as a producer. With its positive, energetic groove, the track is perfect for putting the icing on the cake of DJ sets and getting the crowd singing along. Having just moved to Berlin, MARHOLZ enjoys experimenting with the indie dance genre while using 80s-influenced sounds and drums. Many more edits and own projects are in the starting blocks and are often accompanied by electric guitars and vocals. Whenever I hear the original track, I sing along and spin myself around for the fun of it. I love the happy vibe to it and the very positive driving power of it.
