I first presented this mix as part of the Chicago Home Theater Festival: (Pilsen). The festival exhibits artists works within people's home, as a way to bridge gaps between communities and neighbors, re-imagine the art exhibition, as well as, challenge and dismantle the segregation within Chicago.


I prepared a milk beverage from The Dominican Republic called Morir Soñando (Die Dreaming), handed the audience members samples in a tiny dixie cup, then turned on the radio that played this recorded mix. 

In this mix I inquire a few of the following: 
How many of us have been living a life dead?
Is death just a physical thing?
Can play be a part of processing a loved ones' death?
Can death be something sweet, indulging and refreshing? 
When a person dies who takes care of them?

As I meditate on the baby of the astrology, the rambunctious ram, I think of few things.  Abruptness, electricity, indulgence, eruptions, long leaps, a burning fast sensitivity, and the most magnificent flowers blooming. 

This mix is an attempt to unpack some of the layers of being an Aries.

The three soundscapes are audio messages delivered as puzzles. Each piece contemplates the human experience in its stages of transformation, devotion, ambivalence, joy and tension. Through the use of original and appropriated audio samples, digital instruments, melodic loops and field recordings, I invite the audience to locate the puzzles in the space, assemble them in whichever order they choose and allow themselves to experience a nocturnal suffusion in a whisper or in a high pitch tone.
