Serbian duo Sixth June - Laszlo Antal and Lidija Andonov - come with a fresh new 5 tracks 12'' EP "Pleasure". They play minimal, industrial synthesized music – digging into the colder corners of the synthetic Eighties for inspiration (Gary Numan, John Foxx, Depeche Mode).

Sixth June started their musical adventure back in 2007 and they are considered one of the purest talents in the minimal synth new scene. Rising from the obscure music scene in Belgrade, they re-based some years ago in the analog synthesizers paradise called Berlin.

Their debut album, ‘Everytime’, released back in March 2010 by the German label Genetic Music and the previous EP on Mannequin, "Back For A Day", was bringing the band to play to most of Europe. The duo represents perfectly the two sides of the same coin, in fact while Laszlo is producing obscure but expressive, powerful and danceable textures, on the back side the voice of Lidija is living the shape to a wobbling atmosphere you won’t escape from.

Lidija, apart singing in Sixth June, is a professional actress. Laszlo, composer of all the tracks, instead is an illustrator and music video director.

Strongly recommended to fans of Depeche Mode, Gary Numan, Soft Metals, Xeno & Oaklander.

META014 is undoubtedly one of the most eagerly anticipated Metalheadz releases in the label's entire history! This milestone outing sees a long overdue debut release for one of the drum and bass scene's greatest talents Dom & Roland. His constant output of critically acclaimed work, over nearly twenty years, has contained some of the biggest tracks this genre has ever spawned. We proudly present two brand new outstanding examples of his production genius for your listening pleasure. 

Both sides of this release are already instantly recognisable to most discerning and non-discerning fans and both will no doubt become future classics, just as you might anticipate from Dom's first Metalheadz outing. 

'Unofficial Jah' draws inspiration from Goldie's ground-breaking seminal 1995 album 'Timeless'. Crafting the recognisable elements toward a direction that perfectly fits the track's title. Dom stamps his unmistakable champion sound into a Goldie classic, creating a truly heavyweight, dubbed out reconstruction of epic proportions. 

'Outta Endz' perfectly completes an essential release with a piece of music that has been destroying dance floors and leaving people setting all the regular forums and club convo’s alight with the question “What is that Outta London vocal tune!?” It's intro pads leading up to a stuttered repeated cry of “Straight Outta London” before dropping into a track so big it's practically an instant rewind. Truly a 'must have' piece of vinyl. 

To finish off the release, the stunning sleeve art fittingly depicts a new take on the classic Metalheadz logo, the lion has awoken! Let Jah be praised!

Deep Shit is the NTS radio show, party and record label from Edwin Congreave (Foals) and Jack Savidge (Friendly Fires).

House tunes from Kiwi and Ed himself already proved Deep Shit was a label for serious clubbers and DJs.

Their latest (out now), from ex-Buzzin' Fly resident Chris Woodwood and Linas Fresh Tee entitled 'Woman' is a disco-inflected afro beat groover with a remix from Dimitri Veimar, who drops full EP 'Everyone In NY' onto the imprint next month.

A video entitled 'Studio Time with Tuccillo #1' has been doing the rounds on the Spanish DJ/producer's You Tube channel for a while now.

Showing him adjusting channels and triggering samples on a giant mixing desk between keying chords on Roland synths, the Spaniard's studio is an Aladdin's cave of technology that any budding producer will envy.

The deep metallic cut isn't half bad either, leaving fans of Tuccillo — who launched his own label Unblock Music earlier this year — desperate for an official release. Unfortunately we cannot give you any of his equipment away for free, but we do have exclusive rights to the track, available for free only from DJ Mag.
