Do you remember the first time you closed your eyes and really opened your ears and felt yourself being pulled under the music, pouring over the drop, only to be tossed among the wubs and wobbles? 

Since its inception, electronic music has stood apart in the music world for its willingness to push the limits of musical experimentation and innovation. Nothing is more rebellious, more punk rock, than the courage to throw the rulebook out the window, step into uncharted territory, and play by ear. Few moments in music history epitomize this revolutionary spirit as perfectly as the rise and domination of dubstep.

The early 2010s changed the sound of not only electronic music and dance music, but of everything from pop music to experimental acts. Dubstep had arrived, and its impact was undeniable. Now we can look back on that pivotal moment with a knowledge and a nostalgia that only time can forge.

Mendum’s newest release, “Tell Me Why”, is at once a heart-wrenching plea, a celebration of sweaty nights in the club remembered only dreamily, and a brief lesson in the evolution of dubstep over this last decade. Let it transport you back to that first relentless rhythm or infectious bass line that unlocked in you the desire to create your own music.

A lot of tears, screams, disappointments, moments of relief, and happiness later, this album is coming out!

The titanium amount of hours spent on this is countless.

Some facts about this album:
1) some of the tracks date back to 2018-2019 (but they are remastered) Although they might seem old, I relate to them many years later. Crazy how works works.

2) the order they are in has meaning behind it: this specific order is the phases of my life in the past 1 year (approx.)

3) yes, everything has been recorded, edited, mixed, and mastered in my bedroom, so don't expect platinum record quality. It is all about the meaning behind all these songs.

4) There are 3 music videos that will be coming out on my YouTube channel soon after the official release. This being due to need of a videographer to finish one of the videos. (I can't film myself :) )

The last one) I appreciate every each of you who supported me during these tough times, taken me to mountains, Hawaii, Mexico, talked to me endless nights, and just were cheerfull. YOU made difference. YOU saved my sanity. THANK YOU
