Shredder aka Chris Video is a producer with an output encompassing sci-fi, psychedelic, supernatural, synth-punk, industrial, ebm, dark wave, noise & techno. 

''Bringing new face to the mad science of EBM, Shredder traces a lineage of post punk and goth, channelling the veracity of Nitzer Ebb and Sisters Of Mercy to Alec Empire and the cybers of Berlin’s fetish underground. A techno crossover, Chris Video’s live project has infiltrated the deeper sounds of a Hypnus Recordings night, and to lynchian effect his Tropical Goth showcase and performance reveled in the anarchy of The Horrorist’s ecstasy charged headline. Drawing further DJ support from Mannequin’s Alessandro Adriani, Shredder is a brainchild of New York, now fronting a Berlin- based, transatlantic DJ Crew and independent record label. Temple’s live shows are groove ceremonies for the soul. Taking the audience on a journey into a space of timeless expression, alchemizing electronic and lo-fi organic textures.

Swung house rhythms, progressive synths, wailing guitar riffs and harmonious vocals shine through his productions; echoing artists such as DARKSIDE, Monolink, Four Tet, Feathered Sun, & Weval. The multi-instrumentalists Live Sets dazzle, featuring live looping and Temple’s signature ethereal vocals.

Formed in Saint Petersburg, in 2012.
It’s music is experiment-orientated. Live performances of the band are beyond the scope of the musical concerts, they look more like performative practices of the contemporary art.  Impugning the system of the club concerts, "Shortparis" actively performs at unprepared venues: abandoned industrial buildings, open grocery stores and etc.

The band poses itself as an opposition to the modern musical scene. Living through its loneliness, the band sets its sight on finding original musical and art solutions. 

The band broke up in the autumn, 2020, soon after the musicians had fulfilled their ambitions, and had decided to dedicate themselves to farmery.
