When Summer in Berlin is just as great, you can't do nothing but getting amazing music out of your studio. This is what happened with Einmusik and these three shinning tracks forming the upcoming EP on Sincopat. On remix duties we have back on board another German star: Gabriel Ananda.
 
Samuel Kindermann aka Einmusik opens the pack with the beautiful and also powerful melodic composition of ‘Sponge’. Adding hypnotism to the party, this first song reaches madness in the breakdown. Things get deeper with ‘Sa Trincha’ and its delicate layers of synths.  This amazing second plate builds patiently towards an incredible journey which is twisted into the 90s flavor with the Gabriel Ananda remix. This extraordinary rework definitely takes ‘Sa Trincha’ to the next level. Last but not at least, ‘Pulsar’ offers the emotional and vibrant textures of the most elegant atmospheres, closing the musical spectrum of this rich EP.

Built around slowly evolving melodies and synth lines, ‘Life In Purple’ is that rare house cut that manages to be both emotionally engaging and an absolute banger at once. Richly detailed and with a propulsive groove that never lets up and currently supported by the big three of Pete Tong, Danny Howard and Annie Mac at Radio 1, this is floor-filling house of the very highest order.

A synth-infused father-son collaboration, fast-rising talent Kincaid has teamed up with his dad Neil Arthur, a member of the respected British synth-pop act Blancmange, for a fresh release on Moscoman's Disco Halal imprint, titled 'Big Fat Head'.

The forthcoming release sees Moscoman teaming up with friend and collaborator Trikk as Nucat for their first official remix under the new joint moniker. Wrapped in the label's favored air of eastern mysticism, this chugging and vocoder-driven track is not to be missed.

'Big Fat Head' is set for release on March 22 via Disco Halal.

Dee Montero is next up on the ever reliant music tastemakers that are Do Not Sit On The Furniture Recordings. 

Montero is a UK artist with an international profile. He is a former resident at Cafe Mambo for eight years and has some serious skills in the DJ booth. His productions skills are renowned and revered too, with recent releases on the likes of Lee Burridge's Tale & Tones, Hot Since 82's Knee Deep In Sound, and Solomun's Diynamic, where his 'Halcyon' track spent 5 weeks at #1 on Beatport, and was Pete Tong's #1 Track of 2017. Here he goes deep and emotional on his four latest and great tracks. 

Chakra opens up with spine tingling xylophones dancing over rubbery, rolling grooves. It's a late night cut with a real sense of musical spirit that burrows deep into your brain. Ventura then picks up the pace but stays just as seductive, with supple kicks and more busy but enchanting new age melodies floating up top next to draped piano chords that are full of feeling. Bahia then traps you in a trance, with more sustained pads and chanting vocals that are utterly uplifting. It's a magical cut once more. Last of all, Samsara is another hands in the air, lighters out kind of tune with dreamy pads and superbly crafted melodies that are soft and shiver inducing. 

This really is a classy house EP from one of the best labels in the game.

Upercent's take on house music is shaped by his unorthodox use of classical instruments and a deep understanding of groove. Ziger’s Eat My Hat imprint ushers in the new year by welcoming MXV to the label for his debut single. Hailing from London, the UK artist first appeared in November of 2018 with a release on Gabriel Ananda’s Soulful Techno Records. 2019 saw further successes with quality outings for Balkan Connection, Droid9, ICONYC and Soundteller Records. Now continuing to build momentum into 2020 MXV debuts on Eat My Hat with ‘Einrude’ alongside remixes from Tantum and Weird Sounding Dude. 

Beginning with the original mix MXV crafts a mystical sounding slice of progressive house. Bulbous beats, charged rhythms and striking effects begin the seven minute journey. Senses heighten as icy atmospheres and gaseous sweeps unite across a devilish first act. Percussive flurries and clustered motifs further advance the narrative, flowing effortlessly into an expansive break. Spanning close to two minutes in length the interlude saturates your senses with kaleidoscopic lines and a symphonic lead, opening up with each successive loop, before getting washed away in favour of stripped back drop and driving finale. 

Making his Eat My Hat debut and providing the first interpretation of ‘Einrude’ is Tantum. Hailing from Germany, Thomas Koch aka Tantum has enjoyed a quick rise through the electronic underground. Upon making his debut on Ein2 in December of 2018, the Karlsruhe resident went to a hugely successful 2019, highlighted by releases on Juicebox Music, Monaberry and Poker Flat. Now following a contribution to Mango Alley’s ‘Augmented 001’ collection to begin the year, Tantum delivers an excellent rendition of ‘Einrude’. Taking a cue from the original, Tantum beefs the framework up for a tough yet spacey cut primed for dance floor destruction. The first act creates a dark narrative through astral artefacts and trailing effects, before opening up an emotional reservoir during the main break. Reflective yet astral it’s a unique centrepiece, creating a quiet calm and perfectly setting up an exhilarating final act.

Rounding out the release and providing the second and final interpretation of ‘Einrude’ is Weird Sounding Dude. Long regarded as one of India’s most intriguing artists, the Bangalore resident has found a home on Balkan Connection, Juicebox Music, Plattenbank and Strange Town Recordings. Now following a remix for Modern Agenda, Weird Sounding Dude makes his Eat My Hat debut with an inspired take on ‘Einrude’. The transcendent energy from the original translates well with a smooth, chunky low end ultimately setting the pace. The astral qualities have been reprocessed with a gorgeous effervescent sheen, while the main break adds just the right amount of drama and emotion to make the timely drop hugely impactful. A superb remix from Weird Sounding Dude which caps off another must have release from Ziger’s Eat My Hat Music.

One of our first releases in 2019 came from Eric Lune, the alter-ego of Melbourne-based Eric Quattropani, who provided us his stunning 3-track debut EP featuring "Snow Pony", "Wooden Bird" and the title track "Tantra". Since then, Eric Lune's unique atmospheric-heavy sound has earned himself bragging rights with his music being released on well respected imprints, namely SABB's "Radiant.", Guy Mantzur and Yaniv Tal's "Plattenbank", "Madloch's "Sound Avenue" + "3rd Avenue", Bryan Wolfear's "Strange Town" and MoodFreak and Mike Koglin's "YOMO". Fast-forward to almost exactly a year later and we celebrate and welcome him back for our 36th release on Juicebox Music with brand new remixes of his "Tantra" EP courtesy of Tantum, Donny Carr and Praveen Achary.

Karlsruhe (Germany) based artist - Tantum, aka Thomas Koch, steps up to remix the title track "Tantra". Tantum first made his appearance on our imprint through his "Ashen" EP in 2019. Juicebox Music's 37th release sees Thomas Koch (aka Tantum), a Karlsruhe (Germany) based talent, come back for another original release. He made his debut with us back in early 2019 through a 3-track EP, featuring "Ashen", "Microtonal" and "Sekundenschlaf". Within a short span of time, Tantum quickly grabbed the attention of some well renowned labels, namely Einmusika's sister imprint 'EIN2', Steve Bug's 'Poker Flat Recordings', Superflu's 'Monaberry' as well as the progressive imprints - 'Mango Alley' and 'Lowbit Records'. He also dabbled in a few remixes for Sides and MKLY's "Mauro" on 'Songspire Records', MXV's "Einrude" on Ziger's 'Eat My Hat Music' and more recently, his return to our imprint with a remix of Eric Lune's "Tantra".

With no signs of slowing down, Tantum fires up all cylinders and delivers "Bismuth" and "Phosphor" for his much awaited follow-up EP on Juicebox Music. Whether it's the more driving approach in "Bismuth" or the more emotive approach in "Phosphor", his 'minimal-but-effectively-large' ideology, along with his attention to detail in sound-design, comes across so effortlessly in these two powerful dancefloor-ready pieces.

'Hommage proudly welcomes the return of Valiete to our label with his debut EP. The Frankfurt-based producer impressed us with his remix of ‘Walls’ by label bosses Monkey Safari, which dropped earlier this year, and here he is with the Blackout EP. Valiete runs his own Empore label with friends Marc Wolf and Philipp Harms, launching the platform in 2014. Four years after the label launched, he released his first single ‘Saga’ and introduced the world to his energetic, emotive sound. On his debut, he showcases his unique talent with two original cuts, plus a sparkling remix from Re.You...

The EP begins with ‘Blackout’. As the title suggests this cut has an ominous atmosphere which Valiete builds carefully, with layers of percussion and moody synths. Creeping out from the shadows is a hypnotic melody which counteracts the dark mood, adding a sense of urgency. After a searing breakdown we enter the second part of this cut which distills the core elements down into a more minimal structure.

Next up is ‘Whitechapel’, a spellbinding track that combines soft, affecting timbres with Valiete’s penchant for exquisite percussive arrangement. The first half of this cut is sparse, with floaty atmospherics and the gentle thump of its bassline. Valiete guides us into a hushed breakdown full of anticipation, leading us into the second part of the track where things get a little bit strange...

Wrapping things up, Re.You turns in a delightful remix of ‘Whitechapel’. The cut utilises his trademark drums, respectfully taking key elements of the original and adding some of his own flavour. A steady build up ushers us into a mesmerising interlude and the track’s equally enchanting second half.'

D-Nox & Beckers return home to the ever reliable Sprout imprint, with a fine gem entitled 'Reception'. The boys have soldiered through this turbulent year, as individuals, as a duo and also under various other collaborations, while always keeping the music flowing, and looking forward to better days that will return to us, hopefully sooner rather than later. The track itself is a melodic monster, dramatic and energetic, yet sophisticated and oozing of quality (of course). Hypnotic and vaguely familiar, yet fresh and ready for 2021, Reception is ready when you are. A whole host of remixes are delivered, and first up step Hasith, who deliver a mesmerising re-tweak, quite true to the original, but with a chunkier kick and a dramatic flavour. Pedro Skull picks up the pace and utilises the key changes throughout, and adds additional energy. Solid. We go deeper and and strip things back for Saskia's remix, adding an ethereal vibe. Toby Emerson rounds off the package with a light airy approach, that also brings in some dirt.

Alex Preda is a Romanian DJ and producer based in Amsterdam. His love for dance music began in the 1990s, with favorites like disco and dance- pop. In 2007, he moved to the Netherlands, where his sound evolved from the electronic sounds of Jean Michel Jarre and Vangelis to his signature driving techno, always with an element of warmth and melody.

Preda has released music on renowned labels such as Days Like Nights, Atlant, Rukus, Oddity, Infinite Depth, and Bedrock.

He has gained strong support throughout the industry, including from Pete Tong, Sasha, John Digweed, Fur Coat, Eelke Kleijn, Beswerda, Matador, BOg & Adriatique.
