Label boss Ozzy XPM doesn't release as much these days as he used to, but when he does, it's well worth the wait, and his latest progressive house collaboration on Soho Opus with Christian Monique is no exception.

The original mix full of deep grooving bass, playful hypnotic melodic interludes, and huge slabs of emotional atmospheres, is up there with the very best melodic progressive offerings in 2021.

To complement the original Columbian maestro Gux Jimenez provides his reinterpretation. A more edgy affair, with some really nice vocal adlibs and analog synth sounds, this remix has a deeper feel to it with some electronic influences, which really make it stand out. Both tracks must add to your progressive sets this summer.

Each track on this EP immediatley made me “escape” into the music, took me on a journey and captivated my attention throughout the running minutes of each piece. The title track opens the EP, a deep and groovy percussion line warms the air as the vocals glide over the peaks and the energy steadily rises. Ron weaves a beautiful atmosphere, spilling with magic. The track continues to grow until we are faced with a full on dancefloor killer. Definition’s remix adds a gritty and playful bass line, giving the track more edge while he goes to work on the vocals, adding rhythmic cuts and edits to add an extra layer of motion and heat. The second original here, and last track, is a beefy number growling with a deep bass as the strings rise and the heat is on. From here it’s a sweaty affair made for late nights and heavy floors.
