Alex Preda is a Romanian DJ and producer based in Amsterdam. His love for dance music began in the 1990s, with favorites like disco and dance- pop. In 2007, he moved to the Netherlands, where his sound evolved from the electronic sounds of Jean Michel Jarre and Vangelis to his signature driving techno, always with an element of warmth and melody.

Preda has released music on renowned labels such as Days Like Nights, Atlant, Rukus, Oddity, Infinite Depth, and Bedrock.

He has gained strong support throughout the industry, including from Pete Tong, Sasha, John Digweed, Fur Coat, Eelke Kleijn, Beswerda, Matador, BOg & Adriatique.

During his performances, Alex has shared the stage with Hunter/Game, Sasha, John Digweed, Tinlicker, Artbat, Beswerda, Mees Salome, Adriatique, BOg, Dixon, Maceo Plex, and Worakls.

With his releases on notable labels and his support from the world's leading DJs. Alex Preda is a serious player in the melodic techno scene, he is one to watch.

2088 is a Dutch melodic techno act by producer Michel Ranzijn and embodies a pure and lasting mission: to spread love in any magnitude thinkable. The power of sound is his sole weapon.

The sound of 2088 is a blend between modern day techno and unique analog melodic elements. By the use of dark and dramatic emotional chord progressions, mysterious effects, raw synths and danceable basses 2088 aims to take the listener on a journey through his subconscious.

During numerous livesets he played so far, 2088 became known for only playing out his own material. Therefore, his studio work hasn’t gone unnoticed either, with recent releases on Nova Collective, Pursuit Recordings, Black Hole Recordings and Purified. It’s no surprise to learn that his tracks are regularly supported by the likes of Rob Hes, Miss Melera, Nicole Moudaber, Teenage Mutants, Nora en Pure, Armin van Buuren, Olivier Weiter, Fideles and many more..

Like his love for music, 2088 is not confined to any time or space. There is no such thing as ‘now’ as far as physics is concerned. The distinction between past, present and future is only an illusion, Einstein once told. Everything we see is in the past, unless if you know where to look.
