DJ Oyster is Thomas Østergaard from Copenhagen DK. 
Oyster has been DJ’ing since 2010 and had his first official gig in 2012. 
He has residented at legendary Copenhagen trance club "Tuben/The Tube" and today he is a resident DJ at Jumanji Club. Denmarks only psychedelic night club. In Denmark, DJ Oyster is today recognised by many, and he have made the danish psy-society dance in every corner of the country. At clubs, festivals, pirate parties, open airs and the huge well known Tam Tam Parties, sharing the stage with legends such as GMS, 1200 Mics, Astrix, Ace Ventura, Atmos, Neelix, Xerox and the list goes on.. 
DJ Oyster has a huge musical background. His dad was a singer and musician and musical understanding came to Oyster in a very early age. Though Oyster's DJ'ing always have been electronic music and mostly trance, metal and hiphop has always influenced him. Oyster has been exploring most of the progressive and psychedelic genres of trance but is mainly playing the highly energetic psytrance subgenres known as "Twilight" and "Night-Psy". Bpm's ranging around 145-155, electrical and sometimes thematic soundscapes and lots groovy raver-pleasing basslines defines Oyster's style of choice today.
Oyster is a true DJ. He brings musical understanding, knowledge and experience into DJ'ing and is always digging deep to find the most banging tracks. Actively choosing tracks that not only fits in genre and bpm but using tones, effects, bassline structures and atmospheres as elements of mixing tracks to lay down a technique that is not matched by many. 
Crystal clear, harmonic beatmatches, Playful intro/outro/break mixes, and track selections that pleases the crowds and breaks the dancefloors wherever he plays, is what you can expect from DJ Oyster.
