I have always admired music, of diverse styles. Like most of us, I have tried learning to play a few instruments at a basic level in my teenage. But it is only now, in the 21st century, that modern software allows anyone to fool around being the composer, the designer of a whole composition, simpler or more complex, organising together the parts of the various instruments - and to hear the results of this experimentation or inspiration instantly! That is how I have recently begun enjoying the distraction of attempts at composing during my leisure, discovering an amazing dimension of life, and art, perhaps the most intangible, heightening and hypnotising one, and the closest to the soul... I can tell you that I enjoy every kind of music when it comes out from sincere feelings.  Eclectism is king here!
Music is a language we all share and I enjoy its never ending richness. 

Total DIY here : I'm no real musician since I can't play any instrument except twiddling a DAW and music theory is like an unknown territory to me (I did try tough!).

You'll find lots of various music genres here. I like trying different roads. Experimenting brings me great fun!

Maria Bourgeois is a multi-disciplinary artist known for telling the stories of people and place and their history. She is currently focusing on music as a singer/songwriter. She is a member of Reversing Rabbits; a collaborative music project with Bryan McDaniel.  She has been awarded three music artist residencies…one with the Fredericton Region Museum and two with the Fredericton Arts Alliance. She is a graduate of the Sir Wilfred Grenfell College of Fine Arts Theatre Program and has been a performer for many years.

On Earth One, all of the music and lyrics are written by Dragonsail, aka Greg Hester. Likewise, all of the playing and vocal performances and recording and mixing are done by Dragonsail as well. But that's not as interesting as what's happening on Earth Two.

On Earth Two, these songs are created and performed by a scheming diva named Surrenda and her enthusiastic but clueless dog sidekick Bruce. Additional songwriting is provided by their septuagenarian feline keyboardist, Catatonia, and Onree - the sweet pup with the mean shaker. There's also some old geezers in the band who've been with Surrenda for a couple of decades who actually play real instruments, but they mostly loom in the shadows.

The range of styles in their music includes funk, psychedelia, hard rock, prog rock and disco, which they tear away at with whatever instruments and found objects they have stowed away with them aboard their ship, the Club Dragonsail.
