this is the music that started it all for me back in the 80ies..i only put Hits in here because that was underground enough for us kids back then (and also hard to get)..some tracks might be from another year but thats ok...C.O.D, Freeez, Africa Bambataa, Hashim, Newcleus, Shannon, Man Parrish, Midnight Star, L.A.Dream Team, Der Mer, Charlie etc etc.. i recorded this mix live after the live Set from  Egyptian Lover last month..excuse the skipping of the needle when i tried to scratch ;)..the mixer was not very good and i had problems with the fader..forgive me for not editing the mix..live is live ..i hope its ok for the artists to share this amazing music

For years now, GREETINGS (Head of Boots & Legs Records) and Slumdog (Solstice, Glamorama) have hosted a series of Boot shaking, Gala fit parties embracing the Disco, House, and Italo we all crave. Pushing against the trend of fast beats and crazy bright screens at the rave, The Boot Gala harks back to the Studio 54 era (albeit a kitschy version) that sees a full runway, lights show, and sparkly gold & silver decor that invites partygoers of all creeds and backgrounds to dance the night away surrounded by the best of the best.

The Boot Gala has seen the likes of Skatebard (NOR) Donald’s House, Adriana, DJ Luv You, Myles Mac + many more grace the stage. The Boot Gala now hits the road with shows in Eora/Sydney and Tarntanya Wama/Adelaide to come alongside the typical winter series that Melbournians have come to rely on for their disco fix!

We’re (a little late) in celebrating our Birthday Mixtape, but it’s worth the wait because we have two very special guests. You’ve probably heard of them—they’ve been shaping the music scene online for over a decade, both as a world renowned Premiere channel (they have the Soundcloud followers to prove it) and as standout DJs in their own right. Their influence has expanded countless musical horizons for younger and older generations blending genres and highlighting quality new releases, and they truly deserve a medal for it.
We’re beyond excited to welcome Les Yeux Orange! And just wait until you hear the mix they’ve prepared for us—pure class, showcasing their distinct musical palettes and their musical signature.

This collective started early 2013, when Raphaël and Stan team up to share their passion and knowledge of electronic music. Long time collectors and DJs, they start off by creating their Youtube channel and sharing podcasts of international DJs. 

Shortly after, they started their premiere series, hosting exclusive unreleased tracks from upcoming releases on a daily basis and becoming to be known as one of the best curated Soundcloud platforms. They launched their eponym label and the Good+ imprint, which have been bestsellers in the edits scene.
In the meantime, they began to throw some of the best intimate parties of Paris in La Rotonde Stalingrad, inviting international guests and slowly but surely giving the club the reputation of an unavoidable pillar of the local scene. They are gradually invited to play all over France and Europe. 

Their ability to captivate the dancefloor through a large spectrum of the finest undergound electronic music always promises a magical journey !
