ON HIGH 0.1 : Silent Season

We come back to the UK for Episode 33 on Poisonoise Music , this time featuring the very talented DJ and producer Naarky.
I have been a long time admirer of his music, so when I knew he was submitting a set for me I was real excited!   He has always been very generous in the past and has always sent me over snippets of his new material plus full tracks to preview and use in my sets if needed.
This mix sees a continuous flow of Naarky’s own musical productions which weave in and around the deep and dubby sound but also has that abstract and interesting feel to it.

Bio
Going first from old tape machines/cutting sections of music out and making my own mixes from other mixes from jungle techno DJs of the time - I moved onto tape machines with with crude pitch control through to borrowing other peoples record decks while collecting my own music to play at that time there was no other choice but to buy vinyl. i started with early minimal techno - amassing a great deal of music to create my own sets i moved slowly into the production side of things, firstly with a Sony playstation 2 through to Ableton live. i soon found I was moving more vinyl than furniture when I relocated to various different houses and completely focused on getting better equipment capturing the results of the machines i now own into Ableton via a mixer. 
I use the same methods as I used years previous but with drum machines, samplers, synths and micro sampling. i build the tracks all live in parts, finish them and then DJ them together using software. I am very much into ambient music with a pulse and i enjoy making music seem 4/4 yet shifting through other timings and break points. After going as far as i can into each idea but never spending too long on any one channel or sound is key to the freshness I look for. My main interests within the electronic sphere of sound is to create deep and ambient moods with no aim to fit into a genre as such. I do not make music to dance to. For me, using a modern approach to production mixed with the classic ways of tracking sound sources from hardware instruments, especially sampling, is vital to my sound. I enjoy both digital and analogue circuitry and have no problem using either to achieve the end results.
