Back at our mammoth Stay True Scotland broadcast earlier this month, one track came real close to bringing The Caves' roof down during Nina Kraviz's powerhouse headline set. "I Wanna Go Bang" very nearly executed its titular statement – well, if the song was more about wrecking balls and less about...oh, never mind.

The vocals that stalk the track, so wholly devoid of humanity, rub up against razor-sharp claps and serious bounce in the subs. It's weighty warehouse techno of the highest order, set to devastate dark basements and big tents alike throughout the year. Simply put: Icelandic producer Bjarki has delivered a bomb.

Electronic music mainstay, Tim Green follows up a couple of big summer releases with another fine brace of tracks for My Favorite Robot.

Green, as well as being a Cocoon regular, is boss of his own Disc Over Music label and has long been an assured producer of rugged grooves and club slaying synth lines. This past summer he has had another busy one playing guest DJ slots all over the world and has seen support for his recent remixes of Kidnap Kid and MANDY.  Now winter is coming, we are treated to more original magic from his studio.

Off his latest release "Empire", we exclusively premiere ‘Overstance’; a spiritual track that is doused in glowing angelic pads as well as crafted synth lines that rise up the sale and take you with them. The rubbery drums bubble and boil below and voices scurrying about in paranoid fashion to add to the overall impact.

Their newest release arrives from Amsterdam’s Miss Melera, who has delivered her four track Magenta EP, consisting of two originals and two remixes. We’ve got the pleasure of premiering Dave Seaman’s monster of a remix for the lead single. 

The Magenta EP is due out on Chapter 24 on January 15th.

With number 067 we are combining dark vibes and summer sounds. “Chosen Few“ and “Carried On“ are simply dancefloor hits. Next to an instrumental version, we are bringing a remix by Betoko which sounds like a day at the beach with powerfull strings and wide soundscapes. The remix by Ante Perry brings some funk into the production and takes “Chosen Few“ to another level.

Russ Yallop & wAFF's collaborative track is called 'Mike The Swamp' and it needs to be filed under monstrous. 

The techy-banger is aimed at the terraces, with thick, brooding bass and zippy riffs that lead to shoulder-swinging drops.

It was back in May of 2014 that Sierra Sam and Kink brought nearly an entire studio worth of analog gear down to Watergate for an extended live jam on the water floor. Over the course of three days the two wizards constructed an extended array of vintage synthesizers, drum machines and effects units in preparation for their exhibition of unheard grooves and melodies. Both Sam and Kink are highly acclaimed analog artists and both have leagues of faithful followers as is apparent in their hefty tour schedules and Kink's rise to #1 on this years Resident Advisor Top Live Acts poll, so it was a no brainer to have the two join forces for a night of purely improvised dance music mania. After talking with Sam and Kink, we came to the conclusion that the best way to deliver this was to let the people have the original performance so they can relive the show in all it's authenticity. After careful deliberation and attention to detail, the duo have cut a portion of the original set and re-edited small bits for your maximum listening indulgence, so, turn it on and turn it up. It's time to relive a moment of pure innovation and class when two of the finest live performers united as one. We hope you enjoy and a big thank you to Sierra Sam, Kink and everyone who danced on that historic day back in 2014.
