In the spirit of the 1-year anniversary of Nascent, I’ve decided to release my 2020 and 2021 Upscale artist showcase mixes. I started writing this song in the spring of ’22. This time was spent listening to the music of Yuki Kaneko and Manuella Blackburn while immersing myself in the flowering local grasslands. I was struck by the delicate, secluded intimacy of Yuki’s album “rut”, the jaw-dropping detail of Manuella’s “Formes audibles”, and how this music accentuated the surrounding landscape. I tried to capture this feeling and the sense of renewal it inspired while honoring these wonderful artists.

this is a successor to my first one (sonos) and it has been FUN creating/perfecting it.

these are fresh sounds taken and arranged from long sound design sessions/mudpies and recorded foley. the pack also includes re-mangled audio files from my past projects.

this will be my last samplepack as i will be moving to Patreon soon, where i plan on putting out monthly samples, project/sound design breakdowns, and exclusive bonuses. get closer to my work! i hope to see everyone there! (as soon as i set everything up)
